All you have to do is look at 2016. This same shite happened under Obama and after Trump was elected when gas prices came down the price of everything came down. Energy prices have a lot more to do with it than inflation. The more it costs to make and ship the product the consumer will pay the difference.

I don't see prices ever going down, across the board. Technological innovations will drive down some prices just as they have always done (tvs, computers, etc) but groceries and most stuff will not be going down in cost.
Perhaps we mau see some slowdown in price increases, if inflation can get under control.
But here's the thing... the only way to get inflation under control at this point is to intentioanlly contract the economy, and NO POLITICIAN is going to do that. That's not how politicians get re-elected.

Of the last 4 Presidents, one kept gas prices under 3.00 a gallon. I remember paying under 2.00.

When oil & gas became an enemy to the clown in the white house our problems began. If you depend on other countries to sell us oil for production, you don't control the prices and you are at their mercy. The price of gas & diesel has a domino effect on most everything that we need.

Looking at that chart Trump inherited low gas prices from Obama and then never got them lower they were higher under Trump's whole term than Obama's last two years.

Inflation was a result of printing and injecting trillions of dollars because of shutting down the country for a gloried cold virus. Trump can eliminate dollars from the money supply unilaterally...so no things will still be expensive. Trump CAN take steps to improve people's income relative to prices

Wrong. This is a Trump started this mess and Biden only continued it thread but the Trumpies won't admit that Trump was culpable with his ridiculous out of control spending. We aren't here just because of Biden and his bad policies (and his policies are bad I'm not just blaming Trump)
