No idea. I'll settle for an end to shite like this:

They would be lower than they are now had Biden not been installed. What more do you need to know?

WTF!? I shop at Lowe's quite often, and have yet to encounter either groceries or crap in the store.

I recant that last statement: by "crap" I presume you mean organic fertilizer (technically called "manure"); will look in the garden dept for that.

This inflation and economic malaise was going to hit no matter who was President this term. Covid created some major inflation and popped some bubbles created by a decade of ZIRP inflation policy.

I think most people understand this. The problem is that Slow Flow Joe's policies were inflationary on top of the Covid scenarios.

Cancelling the KXL project
Cancelling new oil leases
Proposing to spend $1.5T on paying off student loans
Opening up the borders
Spending money on foreign wars
Laying off workers for not getting vaccinated
Extended unemployment benefits much longer than necessary

All of these policies were ideologically driven and exacerbated the inflationary impact of coming out of Covid.

It didn't have to be THIS BAD...

But none had any major impact.

You did list some LOL-worthy examples though

We may not even be experiencing the effects of what you listed. We may still be living through Trumpflation only.

If trump can reduce spending, that will help.

If he can reduce red-tape, that will help.

If he can get oil prices down, that will help a lot.

I think he can greatly reduce inflation, but we are stuck with the prices we have. We just don't want to go up anymore

I thought Q said something about the whole financial system being reset. I guess I’m still waiting for that.

This shite isn’t getting fixed by anyone.

Huge IF. He did the opposite in his term.

Not in the big picture. It could help the economy in terms of tens of billions but our issues are in the trillions.

Then that will be his biggest flip-flop ever (albeit a welcome one).

No one knows the future so we can't say for sure, but it feels like the odds of it happening will be better with Trump.

Who doesn't want to improve their odds?

But does anyone here think that groceries and crap at Lowes will be cheaper two years from now? That seems to be the hope for a lot of voters.
I doubt that prices will go down. However, I do believe that prices will not continue to climb as they have been.

Big jump in inflation came from years of overheating the economy plus COVID shutdowns/bailouts.

Didnt matter who the president was in 2021, it was coming. Now I blame Joe for keeping it bumping, his "anti-inflationary" policies were inflationary..

If Trump shows leadership and attacks our fiscal situation, he will become a good guy.

But...he's shown zero restraint, and in fact would have spent more if he could have.

Cheaper is not the goal. Start with prices increasing to match or below wage increases.

So your severe TDS is caused solely by his spending? Very interesting.
