Yes. Organized crime is in many businesses, industries and in government.

Organized crime primarily gets its revenue from three vices, drugs, gambling, and prostitution. Those are all "crimes" with no identifiable victim that were legal until the early late 19th/early 20th century, when progressives decided they wanted to use the power of government to legislate morality. That effort has been a spectacular failure. It's sad that 21st century "conservatives" defend these failed leftist policies.

Actually, you didn't. I asked for your guess and you gave a non answer and changed the subject to "liberty lovers' (would--I assume--) never disagree with my beliefs.

English must not be your first language because the answer was clearly "I don't know". I also said I know that it's "not 100%." The number could be anywhere from 0% to 99.99999999999999%, but it's not 100%.

Just getting back to this thread.

Actually I think you may be projecting with the "language" bit. I didn't ask if you "knew" what the percentage was, I asked for your guess.

You're still confused.

Organized crime makes huge money on human trafficking, protection rackets, and most all businesses that are unionized. Surely you know this?

How does the above post of yours mesh with the bottom post of yours?

100% of Americans are drug users (caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, ibuprofen, etc), so my guess is that 100% of anti-prohibitionists would be drug users.

I support California independence under the following conditions.

Their ports have to allow free access to US Shipping.
The Military bases will still belong to the US and all federal lands in California will still belong to the US.
Californians will also lose US citizenship unless they move to another state within one year.

California will be fined 10k per illegal immigrant who crosses the border from California in to the rest of the US.

California will no longer receive water from the other member states of the US.

No, it hasn't been like that at all. I've only posted that twice.

I've not mentioned anyone being a heroine in this thread. Not even once.

PS-Do you have Parkinson's? The alternating capital letters with lower case letters is childish but if you have Parkinson's it's explainable.

I will in 3 weeks, then back to the pharmaceutical that LITERALLY has a chance of instant death

Why? Just buy a bag of good pot and you're set for--what I would imagine-- would be quite a long time if only used for medicinal purposes. Do you have to take drug test for your job in banking? Is that why you will have to go back to pharmaceuticals?

The post where you incinuate that there are no extra legal benefits needed based on status quo enforcement of current law.

That only applies to people in situation such as yours with medical use conflicting with an employer. That was not the basis or scope of the post you're referring to.
So..in context to the original point, do you know of any instance where the federal government prosecutes people for simple personal use amounts of pot?

Except in this case Sessions wants to rescind Obama era executive orders to give him more power to go after weed.

Aside from that the best case for Marijuana to become legal federally would be for Sessions to go after it really hard.

the curtain has been lifted and there is way too much money in it now to go back . Also every political party supports legalization. It would be a rough couple months but either Sessions would get tossed out on his butt very quickly or legislators would get off there arse and produce real change when it comes to marijuana.

"Contrary to popular mythology, prescription drugs are more lethal than illegal or street drugs. Prescription drug abuse and addiction kill far more people in the U.S. every year than all illegal drugs combined."

"The unprecedented rise in overdose deaths in the U.S. parallels a 300 percent increase since 1999 in the sale of powerful painkillers such as Vicodin and OxyContin. These drugs were involved in 14,800 overdose deaths in 2008, more than cocaine and heroin combined."

CAUSE OF DEATHS
Prescription Drugs: 45%
Street Drugs Combined: 39%
(Amphetamine)
+ Heroin
+ Methamphetamine
+ Cocaine)

It's fricking hilarious how progs are all about states rights, except when it's something they disagree with like illegal immigration.

Then they're all, "Federal laws trump state laws!"

Nope. Maybe that's how things were when you were a kid, but that's not how things are today. The world has changed.

Human trafficking is a problem outside the US, but domestically it's incredibly rare because, believe it or not, it's difficult to keep secret slaves in the US in 2017.

Protection rackets are also rare because police protection is pretty uniform across the country these days.

As for unions, Jimmy Hoffa died almost 40 years ago. The country has changed. Unions, outside of police unions, have very little power in the 21st century.

I'm not saying these things don't happen at all. I dispute your assertion that organized crime "makes huge money" on these. The problem with all of these revenue sources is that they involve genuine criminal acts with identifiable victims. That limits their potential. The real money is in drugs.
