WRONG-WAY DRIVER CHARGED WITH 4 COUNTS OF SECOND-DEGREE MURDER IN DEADLY I-40 CRASH
A suspect is now behind bars following a deadly wrong-way crash on I-40 near Yukon, that killed four people last Friday morning.
According to authorities, 27-year-old Michael Salomon Rosario-Cruz, from Michigan, has been charged with four counts of second-degree murder in connection to the crash.
Court records show he is also facing multiple additional charges, including DUI causing great bodily injury (two counts), transporting an open container, carrying a firearm while under the influence, and driving the wrong way on a roadway.
Investigators say the crash remains under investigation.

This has been going on for many years. How Hispanics/Latinos are counted depends on the context. They are counted as people of color for immigration/welfare/voting/college admissions etc as you mentioned. But they always seem to be counted as White when crime is involved.

Don't know why states don't have an automatic life sentence for a DUI with multiple fatalities. Not sure the populace would stomach it for one fatality, but surely multiple would trigger enough anger.

Keep in mind that this is how they falsify stats. They then use this as evidence for why immigrants are good and whites are bad.

They do that on purpose listing Hispanic as white on crime stats.. That way the ongoing stat count between black and white race is not so disproportion. If you lump Hispanics in with the white race makes it look like whitey commits more crimes than they actually do.
