Wrote to Cruz. Don't figure there's any point reaching out to Cornyn. Probably a waste with Cruz also. It's really a shame neither one of them have been primaried with a strong Trump supporter. cruz isn't terrible, but we could definitely do better.

Good point. Nothing on her X account other than supporting Rick Scott for the NRSC.

That's Tim Scott for NRSC chair, not Rick Scott.

Why not nominate Blackburn?

First woman Leader. Historic!

I forgot about Turtle always keeping someone on watch to not go into recess to stop Trump's agenda and the democrats at times maybe...

Or some such or something DC weird like this...

If Scott says he will truly assist the agenda and appointments the AMERICAN PEOPLE VOTED For.

Have him put it in writing.

In blood.

Yep. I live in Prosper and cant stand the m'fer. If Ken Paxton doesnt get a position in Trump's cabinet I hope he runs in the primary against Cornyn. With Trumps backing he could win.

You are right. Secret ballots should be a crime.

We can start by removing secret ballots in regular elections. If Senators can't have them, neither should the people.
Silly. The Congress’ job is to represent the people. How can the people know if they are being represented if they can’t see how their representatives vote?

Stupid question but why is happening now instead of when the new session starts? Do the new senators not get a voice?

This is exactly why the list is wrong.

The new senators are the ones who voted, not Vance, etc.

It says McCormick leans Cornyn. That's disappointing after DJT dragged him across the finish line. I want my $25 back.

Well, apparently, she's voting for Thune. So that should tell you something.

At any rate, just left her a message and email and got this:
quote:

Thank you for taking the time to email me to share your thoughts and concerns.

I want you to know that we read every single letter and e-mail that we receive. My goal is to be as accessible and responsive as possible to better understand the issues that are important to you. I regularly meet with my staff to discuss the issues raised in correspondence like yours. We will be in touch with a more thorough response as soon possible.
...
Thank you again for your email. I hope you will continue to share your thoughts with me.

Sincerely,

Marsha Blackburn

United States Senator

At least our other Senator is already voting for Scott. Maybe she'll see the light as well.

Crazy idea I know
But hear me out ….

How about we wait until the rest of the people that the American people elected to give you said majority actually get to DC to vote on the majority leader since, you know, THEYRE THE frickING PEOPLE WE ELECTED TO GOVERN!!!
Only the Republicans and Major League Baseball could screw up this kind of mandate election
