They have been playing football since 1903 ( 122 years )
Their record is 775 wins 494 losses 44 ties
A great winning percentage of 59%
This great record has resulted in one Natty (1939) and 1 12 win season
with a bowl record of 20 wins and 24 losses
In the AP Poll lifetime they have finished ranked a whopping 28 times

This was discussed on another board so don't know if it is accurate , but basically ND has an agreement starting next year that if they are ranked #12 or higher that they are automatically in the playoffs. If this is true, then the SEC should tell the committee ADIOS. And if the field is expanded then the number is #13
