Lol. Saddam was our proxy, just like Hezbollah is a proxy of Iran. Your inability to see that is cognitive dissonance at its finest.

Yeah the VP got in front of a mic and "misspoke" about the biggest geopolitical event in a decade.
Well, it's either that or he is lying.
Here is the proposal. This is the man we called in to mediate this.

We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.
This was the proposal our frickin guy brought to the table.
And then here is the tweet where he informs the world that the mediation WE REQUESTED has been successful, and the terms agreed upon by everyone BUT apparently Israel.

We could dream up all sorts of hypotheticals. Those sound just like the propaganda points that Israel is promoting to get us to attack Iran for them.

And again, none of it really even matters if Israel doesn't recognize the ceasefire to begin with. We may as well wipe our arse with the Pakistani efforts to mediate anything.

I kind of figured you would avoid Trump saying Lebanon wasn’t a part of the cease fire because it blows up your whole thread.

I'm saying the US needs to pull out of there entirely.
We never should have gone in

This is to point out that Israel has no intentions of honoring any ceasefire.
They never were. It was either Rubio or Vance said we were made aware of Israel's decision to strike and it forced our hand.

And as such, the US needs to leave them to go it alone.
This always was and will be their fight. We've given them billions in military aid for decades, they should be light years ahead of Iran.
This is what so many of us are in dispute about. There are no drinks poured out for the shitbags that ran Iran. But after the bombing last year, that should have been the extent that the US military was involved.
I didn't want Trump wasting an ounce of political capital to bomb them. And fortunately casualties are a minimum. God forbid our ships get hit or we get drawn into a larger conflict.
I'll ask, what material benefit does this war add to the man or woman working at the auto shop or coffee joint?

Further, Netanyahu has come out today basically saying frick the ceasefire and that their "finger is on the trigger" against Iran ready to resume the campaign whenever they so choose.
Time for Trump to have a talk like this to Bibi and Israel

Brother I can't tell you how many sleepless nights I've had in my lifetime worried about the ominous threat of Iran blowing up my house in the middle of the night....I can finally relax now that their offensive capabilities have been decimated.

Israel returns fire.

We obviously had our own reasons.
Agreed, but according to our leaders, those reasons have been resolved at this point.
Just my opinion and I could be wrong, but I think we need to leave now.

I too no longer have to worry about an Iranian around every corner ready to detonate a dirty bomb.
For real though, I guess they didn't have those sleeper cells ready to launch attacks on soft targets.

Protecting Israel sure has cost the USA over the decades....I am pro-Israel, but they need to follow the US lead!
There are only 17 million jewish people in the entire world.....and 1/2 live here in the USA, and routinely vote Democrat.....go figure.

"We have to get them over there before they get us here!"
"They hate us for our freedom!"
"The Axis of Evil!"
I feel like I've been teleported to 2003 when I listen to most Republicans today.

Trusts the Pakistanis, blames the JOOS, says the VP "has it all wrong," and now ignores Trump himself.

The real question is why would anyone want the terrorist regime in Iran to survive?

I will become a Trump supporter if he tells Israel to frick off and go release the Epstein files.
