Not happy with him, still better than Kamala.

I used to be a Trump supporter. But the anti-Trump posts here have changed my mind. There is no way I'll vote for his re-election in '28.

[If he'd have stayed focused on domestic issues like he was in the first year of term 2, then GOP probably keeps control of Congress in the midterms. Border security, deporting illegals, economy. Biden-flation had been cooling off and interest rates were trending down. Now we're back to high inflation and rising interest rates.
Budget deficit is ridiculous and now we're stuck in another unpopular Middle East conflict with no end in sight that's going to help democrats win the midterms because the dem campaigns can go on offense about Trump's screw ups instead of being forced to defend their own retarded liberal socialist ideas. And I still don't get his obsession with having to put his name on everything, like the Kennedy Center for example. Thank you for your attention to this matter

He’s probably at about a C for this term for a grade.
The stops on immigration, illegal immigration way down, culturally leaning back towards free expression, opening up oil jobs and factories, cutting regulation, DOGE (what he could do) and looking into fraud and how to get states off the federal tit has all been great
The bad is inflation, the war with Iran, tarries hurting the consumer more than helping (where are the checks or cutting fed taxes for tariffs?) and gas lighting the economy. The back door deals and money grabs have also been horrible

The global “phenomenon” was created by the inflation in the US not the other way around. You factually don’t know what you are talking about per usual
Global inflation after Covid was created by inflation in the US and specifically Biden and his wild fiscal stimulus.
Trump 1, supply chain disruptions, and the timing of when countries opened back up and passed their own stimulus had nothing to do with post covid global inflation.
Thank you for the correction.

There in lies the biggest issue with modern day American politics.
Trump is an unserious president currently, but what alternatives are there?
Maybe I've been fully blackpilled in the last 1.5 years, but this is truly the first time I've felt it is a true douche vs turd sandwich election.
Trump 1.0 is an all time presidency, if he could have even done half that this time around America would be in a lot better position for the next generation.

He's a RINO, therefore I don't like him. He's a phony and he deserves the "hate" for being a RINO and spouting socialist talking points. Here is a breakdown on just a fraction of all of the wonderful things he has done over the last few years:
-He is responsible for roughly 1/3 of the current National Debt, and he hasn't even halfway through his 2nd term.
-Spouting socialist nonsense with his 5K check "promise" and is trying to buy votes like other socialists Bernie and Mamdani
-Repeated Obama/Biden talking points on social security
-Said Newsom and Cuomo did better on Covid than DeSantis
-Repeatedly attacked Florida, which is the one bright spot in the country
-Said Stacey Abrams, a socialist, would be a better Governor than Brian Kemp
-Sold out and defended Bud Light and Tiktok because he either owned stock or received donations from company execs
-Celebrated when Michael Bennet, a woke Democrat, won re-election in 2022
-Contributed to inflation TWICE - sending out free Covid money, and the Iran War and continuing to spend like a drunken sailor
-Starting an unnecessary war
-Being a big reason for no red wave in 2022 because he hand-picked several candidates to run who ended up losing several swing races
-Continuing to install RINO and/or shite candidates as the nominees for various races (Vivek, Donalds, Paxton)
-Attacked pro-life Republicans
-Cost us the Senate ahead of the 2021 GA runoff by embracing Lin Wood and Sidney Powell, who told GA voters not to vote
He's all talk and little (or no) action. He has failed to keep the vast majority of his promises, and he has helped cost us several swing races.
Nominating him was a waste and one of the dumbest things we could've done. We've gotten hardly any conservative policies implemented. We had a chance, with a Republican House and Senate, to have a fire-breathing conservative with a proven track record put his foot on the throat of the left and crush them. Bring fiscal sanity to the country, destroy the woke movement. Instead, we got a RINO who has virtually no interest in implementing conservative policies, an unnecessary war, inflation and crippling debt. We were given a golden opportunity to save this country ahead of 2024 and we blew it. What's frustrating is this was OBVIOUS what would happen if we nominated Trump. We might never be given such an opportunity again. The Biden-Harris administration did everything possible to hand us, Republican voters, a chance to save this country long-term. We blew it, and we have no one to blame but ourselves because of who we nominated.

Still 100% behind Trump. I would invite anyone who disagrees to give me a reason why I should be even a “plank unit percent” behind the drmocrooks, let alone more than 50%.

The problem is that the few positive accomplishments of Trump are not the ones being lauded by his critics on the right. If they were saying “Trump has strayed from his mandate on foreign policy, but we’re gonna get back to focusing on MAGA economics and kicking out the illegals” they would have a point. Instead, they all advocate for open borders, for stopping investigations into entitlement fraud, for reviving USAID, for offshoring more white collar jobs, for bringing back DEI to colleges, etc. Trump’s opposition on the right is fake and gay. They’re just more paid off uniparty stooges that want to surrender to Marxists in the name of civility.

Bruh how is this even in question ?
Other than illegal immigration crack down, everything else has been a massive frick up.
There’s been little to no evidence that any of his moves have been more than flying by the seat of his pants

Literally every other president in my lifetime has been far superior to the corrupt self-serving scoundrel currently in office.
This is not about liberal vs conservative …

2025 was a great year and I do appreciate that he's trying everything he can to stop mail in fraud, but he is being stymied by cowards in the senate and a judiciary that oversteps far too often.
He's been great on immigration and elections, but honestly after the Good and Peretti shootings it's all been downhill. He let public sentiment change his decision making process and it's shown.
The Iran war was a huge unforced error that is going to lose the house at a minimum.
ETA: I guess I could say that I have soured on him, but it's not like I'm going to turn around and vote Democrat.

It’s TDS. Trump delusion syndrome. Nothing he does can be wrong.

It’s a very good synopsis; and it didn’t even touch upon his massive (at an unprecedented level) grifting and the embarrassing behavior he exhibits constantly.
