I'm disappointed in him. First he could have put Hassett in as FOMC, nope, he doubles down on stupid and puts Warsh aka Powell 2.0 in. Secondly, he could not have fricked up this war more if he tried. You don't start a Middle East war in a gatdamn midterm year. For all the good he did at the Border, he gave it all back and then some with interest rates actually going up, gas and diesel input costs through the roof, and a good chance the R's lose control of the House purse strings. So that means no matter how good he does in 27 and 28, the Dems can use it in the next presidential election to their favor. They essentially flopped the nut straight on Trump.

Nope. Let’s compare highs under Trump to highs under Biden. If we are making comparisons. Again…you are all panicking over nothing.

I think he is doing an outstanding job. The reason I know is relative to the energy the MSM (Lying Media) is generating to convince us otherwise.
Always select who they do not want.

If interested rates jump a quarter today, he's destroyed the repubs for the midterms.
His second term has been a mess.

He fricked up on Iran. But he’s still light years better than just about anyone else out there. You disappointed that we don’t have Kamala? Or sleepy Joe?

No politician is perfect and the right is cannibalizing itself to the point where the Left will gain power. You can hate Trump all you want but he is infinitely better than anyone on the Left or any mainstream Republicans. Some of you believe that electing the Left will lead to a more truly “conservative” Republican Party which is naive and foolish. Trump is a byproduct of the ineptness of the Republican Party and when he is gone it will return to the party of Thune and Johnson vs the Left. We will lose that war

The Iran war is such an interesting historical event. It is pretty rare to have a singular event unequivocally owned by the President.
Bush’s disastrous Iraq war was authorized and funded by a lot of democrats in Congress.
The financial meltdown in 2007/2008 could be traced to any number of decisions and trends across administrations.
Inflation under Biden was a global phenomenon and at least partially attributable to Covid supply chain issues and covid stimulus under Trump and governments the world over.
But the Iran war and its costs and its benefits are so thoroughly the child of the Trump administration.

is it really that far fetched?

First, Trump does not want his name "plastered on everything". You have valid points, but hyperbole doesn't help make your point.
There's really no meaning in discussing Trump's faults and failures, nor his successes, without equating it to our votes, past and future. In the end that's why we enjoy these discussions - to reinforce our voting choices or try to sway others at the polls.
So, given the binary nature at the polls, I dont regret considering Cackles a laughable choice.
Future elections won't find me voting D at a national or state level simply because the price of energy has risen, nor any flaw attributed to Trump. D's have shown their socialist colors and I do finally believe them.

Reagan granted amnesty to millions and wasted billions idiotic national defense schemes, your memory of Reagan is based on nostalgia not facts

No doubt it'll be part of the 88th peace deal with Iran to reopen the strait.

Trumps 2 terms haven't been what I wanted, but its a hell of a lot better than any of the other alternatives.

Im not thrilled with everything obviously, but he got the border closed and is getting rid of the invaders as quickly as he can which is the main reason I voted for him. Also the markets (and my net worth) have skyrocketed the last couple years.
I can fathom absolutely no reason a Trump voter would suddenly vote for the people who would immediately throw back open our borders and wave in as many third world terrorists as they can muster.

Started out with an 8.5 to 9, now probably a 6.
With the very concerning upswell of progressive/socialist/communist/anti-Americanism on the other side. I'll take whatever I can get.
My political wish list in this era has been watered down to "Let's just keep the country the way it is, please".

Where are you getting the idea that $2.00 gas is coming back? The only time we had $2.00 or below gas in either of Trump's terms was in 2020 when everyone was in covid lockdowns. From 2017 until covid, the average gas price hovered in the mid 2's. And that was when a dollar had about 30-35% more value 7-8 years ago.
Gas during Trump's 2nd term was in the high 2's and low 3's before all the Iran stuff started. Why do you think it would dip back below that level, even after the Iran war settles down?

I don't care too much about these things, but he does put his stamp all over when you look at reflection pool, arch, Kennedy Center, ballroom.
He gets an A on the border.
B+/A- for immigration.
D on foreign policy, Iran may ruin his legacy.
Economy is an incomplete grade, but it is not looking good with all of the crazy things Bessent is doing. Iran is probably contributing to these issues.
I'd say a C on taking on the deep state/MIC/IC.

The global “phenomenon” was created by the inflation in the US not the other way around. You factually don’t know what you are talking about per usual
