I have been vocally opposed to the Iran War from the very start, but I don’t think it’s true that he thought it would be over as quick as Venezuela. They MUST have known that the strait would be closed and they couldn’t easily reopen it. I’m beginning to believe this was an intentional energy shock/crisis in service of some bigger and unstated purpose.
