Maybe I've missed it but it seems like he's disappeared.
I haven't seen him on the news for awhile.
Shouldn't Barr or Wray be answering questions on how long the FBI has had possession of Hunter's laptop?

Barr's doing everything he can to run out the clock, he doesn't want to be the one to topple the power structure in DC. I'm sure this Hunter laptop catastrophe has Barr more than just a little peeved.

Two of the biggest Trump mistakes.....Sessions and Barr.

Maybe both him and Trump are on the exact same page in private by agreeing that the potential negative effects through the media are too great a risk this close to election day, but they also agree that Trump must feed some of the base who don't know any better a few lines about being dissatisfied with Barr for not having gone balls to the wall on indictments.
Barr, being the true patriot he is, dutifully goes along with the President on that, all while potentially sacrificing his legacy to some extent.
Given peoples' unwavering intense expectations, I could certainly see this being the case.
