Who did the Robertson’s endorse?

Never underestimate the sway of Phil Robertson on an uneducated electorate.

Mississippi is going to become only the second worst state leaving LA behind soon so we won't even be able to say "at least we aren't MS" anymore

My wife is from West Virginia. In the 15 years we have been together WV, which a sad dying state of its own, has steadily moved ahead of Louisiana in pretty much every state ranking I have seen.

I travel for work every month all of the country. I can see how LA is ranked last. I grew up there, but I can never move back.

I’ll run for Governor and I would do my best to fix this State and frick the optics on me. frickers are too worried about their legacy and not just do what’s right.

He was about as RINO as Cassidy, and didn't do much the whole time he was in Congress so I'd like to hear your side.

OP, this is why you're having a hard time finding the answer to your question.

The last great governor Louisiana had. (1996-2004) For 21 years now the coonarses have gotten it wrong. Blanco, Jindal, JBE, and Landry. Would the next Mike Foster for this state please step forward.

Probably a Democrat since foster was a Democrat until he won.

I'm trying to get my friend to run for governor. He already has a powerful position in state government and has had this position for years. When I first mentioned it to him, he was genuinely shocked. "No one wants me to be governor," he said. But I think he could win. He's a super conservative democrat.

He was what the state needed. He DGAF what anyone thought of him and had a combination of relationships and bullying ability to get his agenda passed. Closing down some of our way too many 4 year colleges, flushing out the grifters that continue to syphon away tax dollars, and might have even been able to neuter the trial lawyers enough to get some form of tort reform through.

Let’s break down our ranking.

Last in education because of graduation rates and math scores. Wonder who is causing this?

Last in crime because of the violent crime in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Wonder who is causing this?

Very low in economic opportunity because businesses don’t want to go to a crime infested area with uneducated folks.

We are also bad at keeping people here because of the lack of good jobs.

What does Louisiana have more of compared to other states?

Last month I went on a weekend trip to northwest Arkansas and compared it to here and I just wish for like a quarter of that common sense to be going on here in my lifetime.

Jindal was fine until he started caring more about the White House than the job he had.

Louisiana will never be a great state until the people realize that Edwin Edward’s screwed this state with the constitutional convention in the early 70s.The state is hamstrung by to many golden parachutes for politicians and state workers. It costs the tax payers billions of dollars a year to just to pay for state retirements and politicos who don’t work. There isn’t a Governor who can make the necessary cuts to make a difference because of the mandatory retirement benefits put in by EE in that convention. He created the most socialistic state in the country and got rich doing it.

I like Mike as a person, a lot. But what exactly did he do to be such a great conservative?

He went to Southern for a law degree
Was a DIM until he declared for governor
Democrat Andy Kopplin was his Chief of Staff
He appointed other DIMs and an 80 year old as top staff
He violated ethics laws and was fined
He forced standardized testing into schools leading to the Common Core disaster
Set the tone for Blanco to be elected

All of the above would have the PT claiming he wasnt a conservative

We’re already there. MS and the entire south have made great strides leaving us behind.
