I'm going to get a cable box for every one of these 23 TVs I looted just to make up for the missed viewership by the 5% of you that will actually follow through.

is this true? are teams still in the locker room?

Some teams are on the field during the anthem. Iowa has been caught up in this before.

I will not watch LSU football if they are kneeling during the national anthem or if they come out as a team as say I should support them in that crap.

More deer will die because of this. Peta should prepare themselves. Because the same thing is coming this fall like what happened with CV... lots of fish had to pay the price for the shutdown. Now it is the deer's turn.

I quit the NFL a few years ago and am happier for it. I now spend that time and money on my family.

Like most on this site I still watch college ball. But after recent events I think I am close to being done with it as well. I will see how it goes but it is looking like Saturdays in the fall will now be spent fishing or bike riding or grilling or horseshoes etc.

If I knew you personally, I suspect we wouldn't be shitting all over each others' posts on multiple forums. (or maybe we would?)

That's why you don't mind tolerating forced displays of patriotism prior to every game as well as a literal sponsorship deal with the military (NFL)?

No. I don't take things that seriously and in college the teams are still in the locker room when the anthem is played I believe
I'm always curious what the pearl clutching fans' estimate is of the % of any LSU team they pull for is that likes Trump.

They aren't real students anyhow. And if you want to get down to brass tacks they hate you just as much as the 25 year old professional player does. The truth is that this BLM excercise in bad behavior has emboldened them to make it all public.

Well, when you come out of the closet and throw shite in people's faces don't be surprised if consequences derive.

I would love love to see college athletics (SEC ) follow the Ivy League example and return to academic athletes instead of the walking cabbages of the present with faked and tutored grades for worthless degrees.

Yes, let the teams kneel and disrespect the country like the social pariah has been doing for weeks now, note none of these rioters tore up their Donald Trump stimulus checks on TV did they?
Fake is fake and they "fake mad" for Floyd if you want it real.

Moved homes a little over month ago and haven’t hooked up new cable

We’ve been without TV 45 days

Hard at first but much more extra time and I’m not as up tight and pissed off about politics

Idk how I’ll be when college football starts but if they take knee I’ll probably keep saving money on cable and like it. Could go up to sports bar

LOL! Saban is no "heavy left". Almost all CFB coaches claim to be democrats since, duh, they have to go into homes that are "heavy left" to recruit and other coaches will absolutely use that against them. But of all the coaches I have known on a personal basis, all shared the same or close to the same views as all conservatives.

I've been thinking about this. I personally don't give a damn about the NFL. I've only watched a few Saints games the last 4 years or so. But this whole Brees situation has me not even wanting to watch them. Not only the way Brees was treated for simply saying he would never disrespect the American flag, but also due to the fact that he caved like a $3 dollar suit when he got criticized.

But, watching this phony shite happen with college football is going to hurt. I already know that the powers-that-be who run LSU are typical extreme left-wing academic types. I just hope that Coach O won't allow the team to kneel during the playing of the National Anthem. I realize he has to worry about recruiting, but I still hope he tells the team that there will be no disrespect shown with regards to what America stands for.

PS - To the OP. I don't know what Saban will do, but I'm sure you know that he is a big-time liberal. I don't know if he was at Kent State when the "incident" took place, but Kent State is probably where he got brainwashed.

I personally hope that none of the SEC schools give in to this Far Left bullshite.

I was done before a kneel or no kneel. All the crap about Iowa’s team, and other stuff like that, has turned me off of CFB (NFL, too).
