Nah...I'm not giving my diploma back either. Unfortunately, the reality is that if a school prohibits this from their players, there is a real good chance of that school seeing a big decline in their recruiting. As F'd up as it is, this "cancel culture" has a lot of pull.

Depends on how they protest. If the players openly protest the fans, the donors will stop donating and that could be considered a "for cause" incident that you could fire a coach over.
