re: When do Boomers take ANY accountability?

My dad was the first high school graduate in his family. His mom didn’t speak English. He joined the national guard to avoid being sent to Vietnam. He was smarter than I could have ever imagined. I wanted to join after 9/11 and he talked me out of it. It’s all been a waste of life. Sadly the America I luckily grew up in is a distant memory.

In your make-believe world, Bill Clinton ascended to the Presidency because G H W Bush voluntarily gifted it to him, and JFK ascended because LBJ gracefully stepped aside.

The stark truth is, in the real world trophies are earned, not gifted. In the real world, everyone does not get a trophy.

Unfortunately, someone with your attitude is likely to learn that lesson the hard way. A younger aggressive person will muscle in on a position you assumed would be given to you when the selfish greedy old Boomer finally stepped down. Then you'll have a different generation to pine about.
