Yea, let’s have the government involved in how two consenting adults should make love.

Then why do so many of you practically beg for the government to be involved? You want the government involved in forcing businesses to provide services to you. You want the government involved when you wanted government sanctioned marriage. you want the government involved when you want to be treated as a spouse in medical decisions. You want the government involved in providing protected status to your group. You want the government involved in promoting not only tolerance and acceptance of your lifestyle, but the promotion of it through all forms of media.

So tell me again how you don't want the government involved.

You used an awful lot of words to tell me the same thing I had just told you, but in a tone that implied you were somehow educating me.

If one does not support same sex marriage are they opposed to equal gay rights?

Gays can marry opposite sex partners like anyone else. In fact currently there are more gays in opposite sex marriages than same sex ones.

What if someone supports civil unions for gays but not marriage? Keep a distinction between the 2.

Most conservatives don't care what consenting adults do in private.
The need to force it down our throats and program society is one problem. (LGBT characters on every show/movie, when maybe 3-4% of the population would fit this).

Second, the trans issue is one where they want tax payers to pay for their transitions, that's a problem. The other trans issue is when parents force their kids to transition based on statements made as a 3 or 4 year old. Also a major problem. Additionally, they force the trans lifestyle onto young minds through Drag Queen Storytime. frick that bullshite.

Finally, the left is using the LGBT message to expand to include pedophilia as an acceptable form of sexual expression. Probably to cover up the crimes of a large number of the elite (Epstein). All pedos should be castrated at a minimum.

So no, as a conservative, I do not care if someone is LGB as long as their lifestyle does not infringe on my freedoms.

There is a difference between LGB individuals (I'm dropping the trans part they are a whole separate issue)and the "LGBT community." LGB individuals are people that share one characteristic in common, they are attracted sexually to members of the same sex that they are. Other than that there is nothing that makes any particular individual the same as any other particular individual in that group. The "LGBT community" is basically a political lobbying group for extremely liberal gay, bi, and lesbians.

LGB=old people

The LGBT community=AARP.

No. You described the worldview of ONE wing of “conservatives” and attributed it to ALL conservatives. It was inaccurate for that reason. Plain and simple.

If the point you sought to make is that SoCons should act more like pure small-government conservatives, I agree with you. But that is not what you said.

No. They would be a “fraud” if they claimed to be a Constitutional Conservative. If they claimed to be a Social Conservative, it would be entirely consistent.

#1 rule about social conservatism: don't worry about the lifestyles of others, only yourself. Even Jesus did not mention homosexuality ONCE personally in the Bible, yet so many conservatives act like the LGBT thing is the # social issue destroying this country. Puh-lease.

Who TF is 'you'? And where exactly have I advocated for government being involved in marriage? If I were in charge the government would not be involved in any kind of marriage.

I love how you just decided I'm OBVIOUSLY a liberal wanting to promote LGBT propaganda, because I simply said some conservatives in general need to get over the whole anti-gay thing! I just want a larger more inclusive Republican Party. Of course your response to my original post proves my point.

Gotta love the good Christians out there that only have memorized Bible verses denouncing homosexuality. Anything else in the Bible they can't recall specifically, but my god those Leviticus verses criticizing the gays has been memorized since they were kids!. You'd think if it was so important, Jesus Christ himself would have actually talked about homosexuality. Of course he does't address the issue once in the Bible.

I'm conservative AF politically. Go Trump 2020 and shite. All I said earlier is that conservatives in general need to get over their anti-gay biases.

Yea, I really insulted the LGB community with that one, got me! I see reading comprehension isn't your thing. The biggest homophobes in life are always the freakiest closeted ones.

What an insanely ignorant statement.

It’s a pretty accurate, albeit informal, description of textbook conservatism.

Sin is sin and everyone should repent of theirs and trust in Christ's sacrifice for salvation from the penalty those sins deserve.
