Everyone is whining about the cost of food. This is an attempt to lower beef prices. My take is that nothing, NOTHING will stop crybabies from crying. They'll always find an angle.

I honestly don't even know the issues. But, if it's that our ranchers can't meet demand, all he had to say was "I love our cattle ranchers, but they can't meet demand, and we have to look out for the consumer, too." He's completely tone deaf now. Nobody cares about Argentina.

Dude look at all the beef McDonald’s runs through in a day, at a set price, and we’re in a shortage? Okay

I like beef, eat a ton of it each week... the more the better.

We allow Vietnamese seafood, why not Argentinian beef?

Steaks I've had in Argentina are as good as any I've had anywhere, probably better.

As and American consumer, I want the option to buy it, just like I can buy wines from all over the world.

I wanna know more about this shortage because supply hasn’t gone down and prices haven’t gone up.

Tariffs were implemented to protect them. You’re nitpicking now. Again like someone else asked do you look at every country of origin for all the food you buy at the store? Of course not but you’ll be outraged on a forum.

Do you believe anything that gets said? Do you know who owns the beef processing companies (those who buy the cattle).

85% of beef in the US is processed by 4 companies.

2 of those are companies are based in Brazil.

Do you want to talk about pork and China?

Yeah, sure, it's the small ranchers they care about.

This country was sold a long time ago; you just haven't figured it out yet.

Nah already aware that we export pork to China to import it back.

Again we don’t have a shortage we have a small protest of people who want more money than they’re worth.

Beef is high as giraffe pussy. I buy it anyway because it's a large part of my diet.. but it's expensive to keep me in beef.

Is this a new clip? I feel like Trump said the exact same thing when he gave $20 billion to Argentina to stabilize their currency. That money wasn’t enough of a bailout.

That's a myth. China isn't even allowed to import pork. Where do you get this stuff?

China owns about 26% of our pork production, and a bunch of farmland.

Brazil owns about 18%.

That's 44% foreign owned.

The rest is thankfully still mostly owned by US countries, for now. American traded companies anyway.

Anyway, this is who these things actually benefit, stop claiming policies are being made to help local ranchers.

Bunk that clip is indeed from a year ago when we gave Argentina the $40 billion bailout and Trump was asked how farmers should feel about it. It’s understandable to get confused now that Trump is being asked how farmers should feel about having their prices undercut. Trump selling out our nation to foreign interests that buy crypto is a broken record year after year.

The federal government should stay out of the beef market and not do things that make normal prices rise.

What's the difference in this vs imported seafood?

If beef has to come from somewhere, Argentina is better than paying big AG inflated prices
