What's Going to Be the "October Surprise"?

In ever major election one or both parties usually tries to unleash something that will affect the November elections.
What type of dirt will the Dem's do to affect the elections? My guess is they will dig in on Trump and continue beating that dead horse.
Does the GOP have a kill shot? I hope so.

Probably one of the largest shooting sprees in US history. Something like 3 guys go to Mall of America and kill ~100 with another ~300 people injured.

That along with a lot of other “conventional political wisdom” went out the window over the past 20 years.

Something along these lines, but they will ensure it gets maximum effect and occurs shortly after the Senate formally shoots down or ignore HR1808 (the AWB).
