If he hadn’t tried to exterminate an entire race and held no particular hatred for any group of people how would history have treated him?

Would he be seen as a Napoleon?

It's fairly scary to think if he wasn't a pure mad man he would have taken all of Europe and the Nazis would likely still be in power.

A few key decisions, bad ones, by Hitler were the downfall of him. The choice to invade Russia for one and also not fully investing in jet fighters and new tech.

He would have likely just been an unknown artist.

Hitler's drive to "reunify" German peoples (see: Lebensraum) came from what he saw as the reason Germany lost WW1 (and was thus trapped under the Treaty of Versailles): Germany being stabbed in the back by the communists and Jews.

Without that excuse of having specific groups to target with his blame for Germany's loss, he may well have never had the fire to become what we now would call a "community/political activist" and he certainly wouldn't have had an enemy to promote to the rest of Germany to fuel his rise.

I may be wrong, but always thought the Germany was more advanced than other countries during that time.
Isn't that why US recruited so many Nazis for operation Paperclip?

As much as his hate for the Jews dominated his foreign policy, he also considered the Poles & Slavic peoples sub humans. His push for their lands to provide living space for the German population would have also led to war & the same result for all of Europe & the world.

Mid tier artist with weird sex kinks. He would be promoted to the ranks of celebrity in America today.

Napoleon was one of the greatest military strategists in history. Hitler was not even average at best.
However, Hitler was one of the greatest orators in modern times. We don't appreciate it because he's not speaking English. But rhetoricians agree he was amazing.

Most humans get distracted by the puppets and never see the puppet master

Hitler had been jailed and laughed out of the room before Gobbels came along

DJT is the puppet not the puppet master

His desire to "reunify" German people is separate from Lebensraum, which translates to "living space" in German.

Lebensraum was the Nazi's justification for war and expanding Germany into neighboring countries that did not contain people of German origin. Poland, Ukraine, Russia, etc. Lebensraum provided additional natural resources and military security for the Germans.

Hitler was a ruthless butcher. He just didn’t murder the Jews. He murdered to get go be Chancellor of Germany. He even murdered people that were in his side and were his allies. Stalin did the same things.

Godwin's law, also known as Godwin's rule of Hitler analogies, is a statement maintaining that if any online discussion continues long enough, someone will almost certainly compare someone else to Hitler. Typically, the comment likens someone to Hitler or calls that person a Nazi, and the individual described in that way is often a participant in the discussion. The law is thought to apply to conversations about any conceivable topic

Actually, if he had started the war with 200 submarines instead of 46, particularly if he had more submarines earlier with the range to operate in the Atlantic (instead of North Sea), he probably could have forced Britain to surrender before the US ever got in that war, then he could have devoted all of his resources to the invasion of the USSR. With Britain out of the picture, no need to get dragged into the Balkans or North Africa.

Question is would the USSR invasion had been managed any differently? The long supply lines, underestimation of the Russian Winter, underestimation of the newest Russian Armor, and lack of long range aircraft would probably have still been there. Jets probably didn't matter in this scenario.

But didn’t he almost defeat Russia? I always read the invasion was great success at first then they got bogged down with the brutal winter.
