Sad that that thing would start the race with a 40% chance of winning.

I mean...it's a stupid answer but the qualifications to be a U.S. Senator aren't exactly challenging to meet:
- 30 years of age or older
- U.S. citizen
- Resident of the state you are elected to represent

Considering what is representing people in both chambers isn’t exactly scholars. The ones that are actually intelligent seem to be nearly as bad as the lowest level people. You can only surmise that it’s the low turnout of uninformed voters that are responsible. Grifters are going to grift as that’s their nature

If she's of age and a resident, those qualifications are just as good as someone who has been a state senator or held other office.

The pulse thing would then exclude Charles Grassley and a few others in both parties.

Don't look now but the Republicans just let Lindsey Graham's sister "inherit" his Senate seat. Her qualifications include getting married and pushing out a couple of kids.

I’m mad that Georgia gave up two senate seats to bs a few years back, but I guess it could be worse.

I bet even Mike Judge is shocked at how fast we have reached Idiocracy since he made that movie.

Amazing that this is where we are in the United States today. Not only would the forefathers, but Kennedy, Reagan, Nixon and Ford are all rolling over in their graves.

How do they look at them selves in the morning and think they look anything more than a fat guy in a dress?
