Now you're being obtuse. You can concede that these 20 likely have more than 10% of GOP voter support, despite their numbers and cite incumbency and top down support by the establishment of establishment candidates. I know you can do that, because it's true. You can do all of that and still argue they don't represent a majority of GOP voters and that this is all a bad idea.

$$
Also, the 20 terrorists definitely have the support of others that are voting for McCarthy. MTG and Jordan come to mind

Trump is humiliating McCarthy and the rest of the Republican Rino population in Congress. The American people clearly see what is goingon now.
Remember, McCarthy was not in the Trump camp after the election in 2020. He really proved it on 1/06/21.

I'm thinking slightly more than 50% (maybe 53%).

Why are we making this assumption?
Trump has been open for his support of McCarthy. Why are we assuming people who are actually supporting him, secretly not?
Sounds like classic liberal mind-reading.

Most GOP voters are what this board would consider a “RINO”
The people in DC are a reflection of the voters.

I'd say 5-15% are true believers
Of the Republicans paying attention it's probably 40% support the 20, 40% oppose the 20 and 20% just want to watch the internecine action.

They’re all trump supported republicans.
That’s why this whole shite show is so glorious. Even the trump republicans can’t agree on their leader. Half are still voting with McCarthy, who has effectively neutered himself, and the others are refusing to vote with the don.

There are gradations of support. Some people want to cheer the show of resistance but don't want to see the party not be able to functionally govern. Others want to "burn it all down" (don't care if they can govern or not).

Don't forget the next tier, those who concede they won't win and nothing will be burned down but they got to see a theatrical performance.

Wouldn't this fall under, or at least have a lot of overlap with?:

MUCH GREATER. And way more that the propagandists would have you believe.

It is like 2 percent. Moderation is what 90 percent of America wants.
