What laws did she break?
You support squatters don't you?
Sucks for the lady. She had 50 years to go through the process to become a nationalized citizen.
She probably should have huh?

Try what? She followed the orders she was given. What is the purpose of this deportation? To do it just because it can be done? Such a waste of resources.
She was already denied asylum but allowed to remain temporarily at ICE’s discretion so she has no legal leg to stand on.
Look I agree it sucks but this is they should enforce the damn laws so as not to create these kinds of issues.

f you want to be angry at someone,
I'm not angry. I'm asking for the logic behind this deportation. So far the logic is basically because the government said so, although there is no benefit to be gained from this deportation and it will only cost the taxpayers money to carryout.
This is government waste.

Print this article out and when we get the other side of the story we can discuss it. But I can guarantee you it didn't happen like this writer wants you to think it did.

False. Failure to enforce law is not an invitation to violate the law.

It’s a message to all the other illegals. If we’re prepared to kick out someone like her, every other illegal is on notice and should be taking advantage of that self-deportation option.

I don’t see what is so difficult to understand.
Being a "good person" who works doesn't get you into Heaven and doesn't allow you a free entry pass to a Country of your choosing on YOUR terms.
Shifting the goal posts that immigration laws only exist to catch violent criminals is infantile leftist starting points.
So much of the Narrative has been a "no borders" global philosophy "as long as you're somewhat productive and aren't on America's Most Wanted".
When my Maternal grandparents came here....they had to...Before boarding the Boat....
1) Be sponsored by an American family in good standing (usually Church sponsorship)
2). Have a verifiable job lined up
3). Take English classes at night
4) Apply and work toward US Citizenship ASAP....none of this, I didn't get around to it for 50 years.

How does an illegal alien have a driver’s license, and a social security card?
Bet she voted in every election too.

Federal officials granted her a reprieve to stay in the country provided she follow the law and appear at regular immigration appointments.
This seems to be irrelevant as it can be revoked/changed at the discretion of the administration.
Next question.
You're right. From a legal/procedural standpoint, it's irrelevant.
Here's the "next question".
Does our Government have to engage in an act of obvious cruelty toward this woman, or do we have the capacity to be a little more discriminating in this?
She's done what was asked of her.

I didn't claim deporting her is illegal. What purpose does this deportation serve?

I will take a guess and say she must have made some communication recently to Iran or something about action taken against Iran that made her appear to be a sympathizer.

all part of the due process. That knife cuts both ways.
She'll have her chance to go before a judge.
Question: when you go before a judge is it #1 or #2?

It said her claim to asylum was denied. Time to go.
