What is it about the AR-15 that the left is so scared of?

Start big, like the Ar-15 and it's big scariness, then work your way to the less scary (but still terrifying) handguns and other semi automatic weapons.

B/c it is easier to attack the AR-15 instead of attacking handguns, which are used in way more violent crimes.

Because a lot of conservatives and republicans own ARs and enjoy them for recreation and sport so naturally they will attack anything tied remotely to conservatives

They are attempting to “crack the door” on the 2nd amendment. Once there’s a tiny crack, there will be another reason to slightly open it further. And like ALL liberal causes, if you give them an inch in concessions, they will eventually demand a mile in the name of bigger government and more control of every facet of our lives

Hopefully you or someone in your family is never in a situation where bullets are raining down into them from some nut with an AR-15.

Both myself and my wife have CCL and we both carry for personal protection. Even so, I hope to god I never get in a situation where I am taking on someone with an AR-15 with my semi-automatic pistol.
