The same analogy could be said for owning illegal drugs doesnt mean the owner is a dopehead degenerate.

The AR is without doubt one of the most popular platforms in America. That is the reason they are used so often. Ban them, and watch another take its place. Then you’ll start screaming about how scary that gun is.

I would think someone that was in possession of illegal drugs was causing more harm either to themselves or the community. I live in a community full of gun owners and we have virtually no crime. Your argument is weak and I suggest you retire

You know... it wasn't that long ago when law enforcement drastically improved their firepower because they were being outgunned by the bad guys. There is a REASON why excess military equipment is now provided to cities.

Look, I hope I never have to defend myself or my family from any type of gun. AR 15 is no more dangerous than the rest of them. Hell, tactical shotguns are more devastating than an AR15.
