A very high rate of fire akin to weapons designed for the battlefield, not American streets. If the shooter only had access to a single-action weapon, no way he causes as much death as he did. It's rather obvious, so your question is very fricking stupid and typical of the rhetoric of the moronic lemmings of the gun lobby. And btw, according to the Heller decision written by Antonin Scalia, nobody has a constitutional right to own a military style assault weapon. Case closed.
