People typically behave a certain way because of “expectations”.
In the suburbs, it is expected that white males will go to college and then get a decent job. So that’s what they do.
In the hood it is expected that young black males will commit crime and go to jail. And so that’s what they do.
Until these expectations change the behaviors won’t.
