What has the Biden administration been doing to drop gas prices?

I filled up for 3.65 the other day. It seems like the past few weeks it’s been steadily dropping and that isn’t the norm for this time of year. I’m not at all happy with 3.65 gas, but if they can get it down below 3 I would be. 2.50-2.60 seems like a good sweet spot for the oil companies to make money and for the people as well. Can Biden do it?

Great plan they have come up with. Trigger a recession and gas prices will fall. Brilliant.

They've tried nothing and they're all out of ideas.

They have done a lot… driven the country to the brink of a recession, which has in turn, led to a decrease in gas prices bc energy is priced on speculation.

1- Demand destruction.

2- Production, both domestically and internationally, is STARTING to catch up to the huge demand escalation of nations coming out of government-forced COVID lockdowns.

We'll see how long this lasts, though. Refineries in the U.S. are operating at max capacity, refineries in the E.U. have been shutting down due to being "dirty", so one major storm along the Louisiana or Texas Gulf Coast could send another shock of gasoline prices shooting North.

Prices always drop after the 4th of July, then increase again before Labor Day weekend.

He has not done what he needs to do which is tell the climate nutjobs to go f#$k themselves and pursue energy independence. That means investing in domestic energy production.

The price drop is due to the drop in demand which is due to the high prices. It won’t last long unless more domestic oil is refined.
