Bring on a recession.

That's the reason prices are dropping.

Biden went to see if we could revert back to Mid East dependency for oil.

A gasoline tax holiday and begging Venezuela and the Saudis are pathetic, but they’re not nothing.

Gas prices usually lag 2-3 months behind action I believe. I imagine this is the result of the SPR releases, but that was finite and we can't really do it anymore so they'll probably climb again.

I have no idea if this is correct, but it seems logical in my head.

Lowest I've seen is $4.59 and 9/10ths.

I’m not at all happy with 3.65 gas, but if they can get it down below 3 I would be. 2.50-2.60 seems like a good sweet spot for the oil companies to make money and for the people as well. Can Biden do it?

You'll be happy if Biden only increases gas prices by 40-50% from what it was before him? Low expectations for the leader of the free world.

Overton Window affect.

People will be "happy" with $3.80 gas after it was $5, yet it is still double what it was in January 2020...

It never fails.

Harm the economy so much that the people stop traveling and then fuel demand plummets.

It still won't take out that 15-20% grocery inflation, though, which will be exponentially higher in the coming months when the world runs out of grain by September.
