Minnesota hasn’t gone red since 1972. Even California and New England has gone red a few times since then
They’ve been cucked a long time

They’ve been liberal for a long time. Minnesota is the only state to vote against Ronald Reagan both times he ran. They were the only state Walter Mondale won in 1984 vs. Reagan (granted it was mainly because it was his home state).

Minnesota had a unique socialist movement with its farmers. So, rural people who would be republicans in other states are democrats there. This allowed the democrats to do really dumb stuff without the fear of losing power.

Obama
He truly was a Manchurian candidate and fricked us up as much as he could in 8 years, in addition to the Arab Spring that led to the rapid fall of Europe.

Michael Savage stated 25-30 years ago that liberalism is a mental disorder and the chart you posted would confirm such. Even Dims who appear and behave relatively normal suffer from mental fragility.

It's easy....MSP is choc full of overly academic low wage college grads who are brainwashed into hating America. I lived there for 5 years, when I moved there a neighbor said, MSP is not too bad as long as you don't like radical leftist because they rule.
Couple that with how woke the evangelical Lutheran became and you get a post-Christian, rich city that is guilt ridden.
They don't care if they don't make sense. I've known more than a few who were all about the far left until it burned them in some way and they they felt there was no hope on top of having nothing to give them hope, family/kids, church community and normal family relationships.
The culture of MSP wants to be NYC of the high plains, the mid-west Seattle/Portland.
The saying says, all the folks in MSP met their friends in kindergarten and left their families behind for not being woke in their 20s.
The burbs used to balance out MSP but they went dark blue in 2020 and the rest of the state is red but MSP dominates the politics.
Sadly, this model is playing out in Nashville and the Carolinas and GA. Until the right gets a plan to take over big cities this crap will continue.

Basically suffering from the same retardedness as Canada. Too good natured and concerned about being polite to those who wish to overtake them. Won’t realize they’re up to their necks deep in shite till it’s too late.

Imported Scandinavians.
Once you compare how lunatic the Nordic countries have gotten compared to even the rest of Europe, then there's something to this theory.

Yep, Raleigh is nothing like I remember growing up due to the influx of northern transplants. They flee the fruit born from the seeds they sow up north then infect here as well.
Honestly, I don’t think there are any cities in the US with populations above 750k that aren’t communist strongholds. The commies love traffic, crime, and the like.

Humphery
Mondale (Rush called him 'Mondull ' )
these two helped guide Minnesota onto the wrong track...

It's interesting to watch this play out state by state. Florida was once a purple state but trending hard red with a huge population.
My county in Idaho has 600k people and has some pockets of probably 90% dem voters but the county itself went 54-43 for Trump and is trending even redder with people escaping the blue states.
It's particularly important out west with the Exodus from California to Phoenix and Vegas metros. Do those get redder or start moving towards Colorado status?
Balkanization is very real and Republican state reps better figure out how to build new floridas, not Colorado's.
If the balkanization continues, what purple state is most likely going to trend to the right long term? Pennsylvania?

Louisiana would be a Dem state if New Orleans was the size of Chicago.
Louisiana has been a Dem state. We just have voted the Republican president more since Bush.
Louisiana has a much higher percentage black population than Illinois does. We have a large born into the Democrat party base.

Everything north of I80 is liberal asf. Rural Midwest are pretty legit it’s the midwestern large cities that have been taken over.

Democratic Socialists truly believe the way forward is an oppressive and authoritarian government that promises to equally distribute the collective wealth of the US taxpayers to the oppressed masses.
