What happened to men and when did it happen?

Was it something in our food supply or water supply? Self esteem movement? Too much technology? Too much leisure?
My Grandpa grew up in the great depression working on a Tobacco farm and at an ice house, was in the South Pacific at the age of 19 and lost all his hearing while operating a turret on a battleship, and returned home to raise 12 kids while working a middle class job. Never went to college himself, but managed to get all his kids though Catholic school and college, while my Grandma stayed at home taking care of the kids.
But he was just a dime a dozen for that generation. I think most of the men from that era would hang their heads in shame at what has become of the majority of modern American males.

I blame skinny jeans and education/indoctrination.

You just answered your own question with this. The men of today haven't been challenged or raised with a strong example of what a man is. It happened when parents started focusing too much on their kids and shielded them from the harsh realities of the world.

Beyond the cancer that is our culture, I think diet is an issue.
The average man has negligible testosterone levels, because of the chemicals they’re ingesting.

They didn’t expect the world to owe them anything. This new generation thinks that the world owes them everything. Thanks parents for letting strangers instill a terrible work ethic in your children while you were busy getting divorced and having both parents work.

It seems to be a selective problem that doesn't hit All Nations.
It looks like there are still men in Russia, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Men who are strong, men who are protective, men who are capable of great violence.

A man with less than a high school education could raise his family on his wages alone. Thats what has been stolen from us.

Video games. It’s also causing them to be socialists. If they can get a free check, free room and board to game all day/night they will sell their souls for it. Nothing else matters, not sex not life nothing in life matters.

The aging water systems in most of America's cities and suburbs has resulted in an unacceptable amount of heavy metals in much of our water supply. Eventually heavy metals build up in the human body and alter the hypothalamic-anterior pituitary gland-gonad pathway leading to lower testosterone levels. At the same time the heavy metals build up in the liver and cause increased fat buildup. Since fat tissue can convert testosterone into estrogen having higher fat content in males leads to a lowering of the already low testosterone levels and an above normal level of estrogen in urban and suburban males.
I am just kidding. It is a result of social media and indoctrination from hollywood.

Soy has always been soy without the look. It’s not something all that new

It happened naturally with the national economical shift from manufacturing to a service economy, and women entering the workforce en masse shortly thereafter. Men were now competing with women for jobs in an economy that no longer rewarded masculine virtues. It spilled over into entertainment, advertising, and then into everyday life.

The feminist need a group that they can dominate, and these dudes will roll over just to get laid every once and a while.

The men got womanly and the women got manly.
