Nothing really changes. A lot of finger pointing at Biden and incoherent truth social post.

The Republicans have both right now and they aren't doing anything.

In this insane alternative reality you've created for yourself, who gets credit if things improve these next two years of Trumps term? A hypothetical Dem congress?

Impeachments every month. No removal.

Officials will ignore subpoenas and contempt findings as DOJ won't prosecute.

CRs as far as the eye can see.

No nominees will get through and obviously no recesses frick JOHN THUNE.

If democrats take the house and the senate, Trump will 100% get impeached and removed from office.

Complete deadlock. Everything that was promised in the election will not happen since it would have to be signed by the President.

They will move for impeachment which will turn off Americans again.

It really bodes well for the do nothing R's in 2028 which means we need to find new candidates to primary virtually every R in congress to get rid of the swamp.

Impeached but not removed. 2/3 Senate to convict. It will be a shitshow of nonstop impeachments but that shite didn't work so well for them last time. It would probably help Republicans take the Presidency in 2028.

The senate would hurt because of judicial confirmations. Especially if they go nuclear and try to stack the Supreme Court but that might also be the first shot in the 2nd CW.

JD Vance is probably kicking himself for hitching his wagon to Trump.
JD can kiss his political career goodbye if Midterms are a Blue Wave

We at least need the US Senate for the US Supreme court.

Alito and Thomas are pushing 80 years of age. The 2 best Supreme Court Justices we have.

Sotomayer is a type 1 diabetic and around 72-73 years old. And she is not in the best of health.

If we keep the US Senate, it is very possible the DJT could appoint at least 2 new Supreme Court Justices.

We don't need more duds like Barret and Kavanaugh, Gorsuch has been decent but can be unreliable.

That old crow, McConnell, who was poisoning the US judge pool, is gone and we have lots of young strong conservatives in the US Senate Judiciary Committee.

Grassley and Kennedy are the exceptions. I wish he would step down and make way for a young up and comer like Mike Lee, Josh Hawley, or Ted Cruz.

I am pretty confident we keep the US Senate and optimistically cautious that we will keep the US House too.

Impeached? Most likely. Removed? No. The 2/3 requirement will prevent that.

How? Does it just sit there forever, partially completed?

What budget? It’s been 25 years of no budget out of congress.

Maybe they'll finally release the Epstein files that they so desperately want but chose to not release when they had the White House and both sides of Congress

Nah. It was the only chance he has at becoming President. No matter what happens Nov 3rd he's the odds on fav to be the nominee in '28

Agreed and frankly, I kind of envision that happening. Trump f’ed himself and us in the process and he will be toxic to those GOPers trying to hold onto their seats in 28 and beyond. Could easily see 10 GOP Senators acquiescing to the radical left to kick him out.

Your average working American doesn’t give a single frick about the fraud being uncovered. They care about their light bill. They care about how to buy a reasonably priced car. They care about their water bill. They care about their property taxes.

He really f’ed himself and he’ll pay the price and I won’t shed a tear for him.

Thanks for nothing Don! Much appreciated!

Do yourself a favor and search up who is getting pardons these days and who they're donating to to get those pardons.

Almost a certainty.

Nope.

Not the most pressing issue, but probably?

At the very least, it’ll be a stalemate, with vetoes and budget battles, right?

Yes. And also investigations. So many investigations.

Then in 2 years the battle, with bigger stakes, starts all over again.

Correct. An impeachment conviction would elevate Vance to the Presidency. Dems don't want that to happen, either.
