fricking this. I would even settle for crank windows at this point. The only problems my truck has are fricking sensors going bad. Ever had your vehicle shift to first gear at 75mph? Thanks, Ford.

It’s the big time oil companies. They need to sell their fuel for cars that need it. China has no oil so they had to invest in their EV vehicles.

Nobody in the US has eaten Chinese food. Like my buddy from Raipur said, that’s not Indian food, that’s Indian cuisine.

Where are you? Byd is all over Ireland and I saw Geely, Chery, Xpengs and Nios in mainland europe.

You'll see them. But you see so many other cars that are foreign to us that they don't stand out. I'm a car nerd so I notice that.

I'm honestly interested in that cheap truck with roll up windows and no stereo coming out.
I want a basic electric vehicle to make into a work truck for my business.
My 2021 Ford Transit needed a transnission at 45,000 miles. Meanwhile the e150 van i had before that had 365,000 miles on original drivetrain and is still being used by the guy i sold it to.

We can not compete because of Unions, plain and simple. They demand the highest wages in the world and fight automation.

There's no way out of this with a collapse of the current bloated system.

I like power steering, power windows, heated seats, and a backup camera. F the rest

All I need is power windows, power locks, cruise control, and an FM radio.

Power steering and breaks are standard now. Backup cameras cause laziness.

So if a Chinese person fresh of the boat made a meal, and you ate it, it's not Chinese food? Why cause it's not actually ate in China?

If that's the case I guess no one here has eaten Mexican food

And stealing IP

This can't be stated enough. China has spent the last 40 years stealing top level IP from around the world while sending out an army of engineers to the top universities around the world.

All that knowledge has been used as a high level jumping off point for them to begin their own innovation all the while avoiding all the DEI, gender politics, and fake environmentalism that is currently bogging down the west, which is also actively working to lower its collective IQ by importing the third world.

Then they put them on the tailgate. Might as well put a camera on my backside.

Everybody knows it's the little Mexican guys blastng the Tejano music working and producing whatever food you want to order.
Was in a fancy restaurant in Pittsburgh a couple years ago for office event. Wife and I left through a side exit near the kitchen. Low and behold it felt like we were back in Texas with the Spanish and Tejano music.

Bingo. All while subsidized by the tax payers.

”Over the past decade, American institutions began pouring money into counterproductive, divisive DEI infrastructure,” it continues. “Meanwhile, China was spending to gain influence in American academia, accessing research and technology to advance their national interests.”

While Ohio State University has used over $15 million from Chinese donations since 2013 for projects like its China Gateway program, the school spends nearly the same amount each year on DEI staffers, according to Open The Books. Top DEI officials at Ohio State earn nearly $300,000 in salary, with 29 individuals reportedly earning in the range of $100,000 to $269,000 annually.

The watchdog reports that the $13.1 million spent on DEI employees at Ohio State in 2023 was enough to cover the full tuition of more than 1,000 in-state students. The university has also given donations to DEI-based organizations, such as “Salvation and Social Justice” and the National Diversity Council.
