MAD still applies. Russia would just be the far eastern end of said parking lot. My concern is tactical battlefield nukes more so than strategic.

Sometimes I feel like I am on crack when "conservatives" can't understand the value of knocking out USSR weapon stockpiles for pennies on the dollar (or more importantly: via the blood of Ukrainians not our citizens).

Ronald Reagan would roll in his grave if he knew how scared some of yall are about Russia. Grow a set, their best weapons can't even beat our Gulf War shite.

You do realize that Russia has over 1000 nukes right? If only a handful make it here you can will join Reagan rolling in your graves. Ignorance is bliss with this one folks.

America had strength that rocked the thought process of these cretins. America doesn’t begin to have that anymore. You need to quit playing children’s war games on your Xbox, the real world is much different

Jumping into a war would be one way to make room and free up resources for the immigrants.

Oh, many if not most of these “decision makers” and their loved ones will be whisked away to well-stocked underground bunkers to ride out the years of Nuclear winter and later emerge to lord over a significantly reduced populated planet.

From that point, it would be easy to manage the level of the world’s population onward.

They aren’t “suicidal” because they have no intention of perishing themselves. “Homicidal” is another matter.

Can you convert your perceived value into dollars so we can get an apples to apples comparison?

Sure thing.

Look at the slight bump at the end of this chart. That is Ukraine. Compare it to the large hill during the 1980s:

That little bump has fricked up more Soviet advanced tanks and Soviet gen 4 fighters than that entire huge molehill of spending in the 1980s.

Or frick, compare the Ukraine bump to all the money we spent on a proxy war with Iran in the 2000's to basically just make them stronger in the region.

Proof that propping up Ukraine is the best money we have spent in my lifetime.

That's not a proper conversion, but I suppose you were just waiting for any opportunity to post that chart.

Blinken just just gave Russia the excuse to escalate the destruction of US' puppet government in the Ukraine.

So there you have it. Re-elect Biden and WWIII is imminent. It is like they are excited at their own self destruction.

I don't understand your logic. You have this animosity towards Russia and feel they should be destroyed it seems. You appear to think he's the bad guy. In 2014, Victoria Nuland worked with the CIA to run a color revolution and oust Viktor Yanukovych. He was in was about to agree to an economic pact with Russia instead of the EU. This pissed off the power brokers (US). Then the CIA built 26+ bio labs as well as 12 secret bases with which to run shadow ops against Russia. The US is pushing to box Russia in with NATO nations. Notice all the like minded govt's being installed in NATO nations. This is happening on Russia's doorstep. Do you seriously think they have no right to defend? Do you remember the Cuban Missle Crisis? If you think Kennedy had a right to intervene there, then Russia has a right here. Or to put it another way, if Russia was installing its puppet and setting up bases in Mexico, do you think we should sit back and take it up the arse?

So Trump should immediately take the role of peacemaker re nuclear war. And scoff/discredit the Dem’s lie in the last election that it would be Trump that causes war and not the Dems. It is an impossibility to defeat Russia minus National suicide. Which I really don’t think the Dems care about over and above their “fundamental change “.

The problem isn't Putin, it is what happens after he dies. I want China to have to deal with that shite, not us. Pushing Russia into Asia politically is how we ensure it isn't our problem.

It never ceases to blow my mind how the CCP continually seems to get a pass in the minds of so many as if they aren’t really a threat to US interests or something to be of immediate concern.

I’m pretty sure the CCP would welcome “dealing with the shite” that comes with the resources of Russian territory.

No, I have a strong feeling (backed up by decades of proof) that USSR weapons' have propped up some terrible dictators across the world the last few decades. The more of those weapons that are trashed in Ukraine and don't make it into conflicts against our allies like Israel the better.

I hope one day the Russian people can pivot back to a democracy and overthrow their Soviet sensibilities, but between now and then I want them as disarmed as possible just in case whoever come after Putin is crazier than him.

The goal of this war wasn't to defend Russia from NATO, but to gain a land bridge to Crimea so Russia has full access to the Black Sea. As a neocon I do think might makes right to a certain point, but you frick around and you find out and Russia is finding out that our Gulf War era shite curbstops their best weaponry.

If the roles were switched I would think that Russia would be happy to fund a proxy war in Mexico to clean out US arms. But luckily our MIC stayed at a high level after the Cold War (unlike Russia's MIC who hasn't seen many innovations since the wall fell) so it is us who get to play the game of chess not them.

I would much rather China wasting its time trying to prop up a failed Russia state to prevent a crises on their border then use those same resource to militarize the South China Sea at the expense of our allies.

Maybe, but they don't seem to want to jump into Afghanistan after we dumped that problem on their doorstep.
