Yea, it’s funny how invading a country unprovoked leads them to look for allies, huh? Just a crazy notion.

Just because a bunch of people who call themselves conservatives were duped by artificial motivations for the War on Terror (because they wouldn't have accepted the real motivations) now want to run away from our responsibilities as the leader of the world doesn't mean we should.

Luckily the "deep state" of the Pentagon seems to run circles around yall's efforts to contain them with your fifth grade level understanding of how yall think the world should be run.

Our nation is falling apart internally and you're concerned about whether or not we get to still play world police. What benefits came from the wars in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan? Seems like you're concerned about the well-being of the MIC and not the American people.

So when Ukraine aid passes (and it will, there is a reason many Republicans want it too) don't blame me I am just a messenger.

Yes, we're aware that defense contractors control our corrupt politicians.

They never answer it because they know Clinton promised Yeltsin they’d never add Ukraine to NATO in exchange for giving in on nukes. That doesn’t help their narrative.

They aren’t suicidal if they aren’t putting skin in the game.

They are:

1. SOPM “spending other people’s
Money”

2. Sending our kids and family members to war.

3. By doing 1 & 2, they are Laundering Money back into their offshore accounts.

It’s rather simple to see EXACTLY what they are doing.

It’s a business for them, bankrupting American Taxpayers and destroying those same people’s families with war time aftermath of mental and physical health issues, if not loss of life in these wars.

And to answer another poster, we are already in WWIII, this just confirms their motives and gives a much larger door to openly spend more money and send more physical troops and weaponry.

God Help Us ??

So once Nato puts boots on the ground will China and Iran jump in as well? I always heard WW3 would be very quick and costly. What are the chances nukes come into play?

Yeah because the only reason we aren’t declining faster as a country is because our quality of life is subsidized by the dollar. The dollar is strong because our government is the strongest institution on the planet. It’s the strongest institution on the planet because our military can wipe out any other one.

It’s not difficult: I want to give us the margin to turn the ship around. I know some of y’all are beyond that with the whole burn it down civil war shite but I actually don’t want my kids to live in a hell hole.

Nothing, but our nation building in Japan, Germany and South Korea created some of our strongest allies on the planet. You can’t win them all.

Plus Ukraine isn’t like any of those because we aren’t sending troops there, just old equipment and the minimum cash needed to keep their government running to use those weapons.

I imagine it has to do with things like CIA black sites, virology labs (for things illegal to work on in the US) and fricktons of records about US politicians (from both parties) laundering money through there.

Good. We should have never made them give up their nukes but this is a decent plan B. Completely box in Russia and isolate them and they will be a Chinese satellite state in 20 years.

Sorry, but you’re nuts. Back Russia into a corner you’re talking end times stuff.

It’s alarming that people like you annd others exist. You’re pretending you’re a General playing Risk or a loser sitting around all day eating Doritos and playing Call of Duty.

We just left Afghanistan after 20+ years, still have troops in Iraq getting bombed, and are trying to get in wars in different spots around the globe. How the f**k do you envision us fighting WW3? Both financially and manpower wise?

We’re broke. And our politicians are laundering money through Ukraine and the MIC.

You signing up to put your boots on the ground?

"Now answer this question, why did he roll the tanks?"

Because he has long called the breakup of the Soviet Union a catastrophe and, given Western fecklessness, he figured he could get away it as he did in Crimea.

"Actually, as Winston well knew, it was only four years since Oceania had been at war with Eastasia and in alliance with Eurasia. But that was merely a piece of furtive knowledge which he happened to possess because his memory was not satisfactorily under control. Officially the change of partners had never happened. Oceania was at war with Eurasia: therefore Oceania had always been at war with Eurasia. The enemy of the moment always represented absolute evil, and it followed that any past or future agreement with him was impossible."
