Same story, same ending- the government military complex is cranked up. Just like the build up to Iraq— Saddam has enriched yellow uranium to make a bomb, we have to bomb him first, forget about Bin Laden that took down the Twin Towers. The government pivoted from the attack on 9/11 to go to war on Iraq and Afghanistan. And, Iraq had no uranium.
In first Gulf War, Bush 1 doesn’t finish the job of getting Saddam because sentiment had changed. Crazy to think we got involved because Iraq invaded Kuwait for oil.
We keep killing Americans in wars -Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War 1 & 2. Was the end means achieved? By definition, war is to defeat the enemy with an end goal in mind. Iran was hardly mentioned by Trump when campaigning for 2nd term. He did campaign on ending endless wars and even eviscerated Jeb Bush in first campaign on the republican war mongering.

Maybe, but I called this a year ago. A recession is coming, they know it, they know midterms are probably lost. We should have NEVER had QE and spent about 10 Trillion after Covid, cause that was the Problem. The recession should have come in 2022-23, but they flooded the border, gave them max benefits and just shoveled money out the door to build this bubble, and it will correct, as you will really see this Summer. Trump has tried to kick the can with tax cuts, revenue from Tarrifs( which are deflationary) but there’s just too much damage and timing with all the past debt payments due, cause Yellen funded everything on the short term end of the curve. This isn’t about Trump, he’s trying everything, but you can’t run from the math. I think he knows that, but thinks he needs to set the playing field for the future on his way out, game check China, by resetting Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba. We’ve always said that everyone just kicks the can, and just appeases all these countries as they know they will take a hit, as well as their party: I think we are seeing true greatness that we always hoped for, and it won’t be easy to stomach…

Of course it won't stop Iran from having a bomb. Only regime change would have prevented that.
So you are advocated we should have just walked away from WW2 December 21st 1941?

I thought we were talking about nukes?
We are, they want them for the same reason they wanted missiles and drones to point at neighbors.
Power, leverage, insurance.

So instead of really wanting it, they really really want it!
Exactly, now they will lie even more to regulators, dig even deeper sites...

Nukes are a completely different story man. They want nukes because if they had them we wouldn’t be able to slap them around like we are right now. Neither would the Israelis. The odds of them sneaking a bomb across our border or launching one at Israel or any of their other neighbors are practically nil.

We should have never gone in without the high probability of regime change
Can you honestly say Trump is going to walk away from this w/out a change in leadership?
He’s never just left. Ever. Nor will he. Support your President and quit melting.

One thing that is indisputable. If Obama or Biden would be the President right now, this board would be in 100% alignment that we should not be involved in whatever this "war" is

Where are the armed civilians in Iran? Where are the regular army units that have been persuaded to flip?
Maybe thats what the freakin CIA should have been doing instead of reading journalists texts.
They didnt do the work on regime change which is why we are only getting a light show.

Ok well maybe you’re right, the new supreme leader will see the error of his father’s evil ways and start the country on a new path

Do these people not understand how big Iran is? And that we alone not counting Israel had to strike 6000+ targets before we could even consider moving any plans of supporting an uprising?
Im surprised they got it done as fast as they did even going 24/7

I think you mean the opposite - the odds are almost certain they would use that power to demand surrender from anyone who opposes them

Who exactly would they make surrender and what would that look like?

Im not disputing that. Im just trying to figure out where the plan is to stop the only play the Iranians ever had, which is to screw up the world's economy and influence our elections.

"Sorry Dave" - I cannot respond to that with an adequate level of coherence.
