Like maybe just maybe they hold the GCC nations hostage to their desires?
Really?
Like China, North Korea, Russia, India, Pakistan and all the other questionable nuclear powers?
Or like Israel kinda does now.

If we don’t get regime change then frick it, just let them have nukes so them and Israel can have mutually assured destruction and the region will be more stable than without a nuclear armed Iran.
Everything gone wrong now will be even worse if they have nukes.
They will 100% plant bombs in US cities the next time a dem opens the border.

Why would they do that?

Enjoy living in a nation with a socialist as President, bud, because that's where your attitude is rapidly heading.
Well, he is one who swings around the term leftist as a bat, against anyone who doesn't agree with him. Not only are there no true leftists on this site, but he really does defend a life-long Democrat who has several other life-long Democrats in his cabinet.
Weird.

All of those countries fall under reasonable actors
Iran is literally a government born on theology that is very clear about bringing some type of Armageddon to bring back their pedo prophet.
1 is not going to push the button
2 will as soon as they have enough to achieve whatever their fricked up goals are
This is the difference

What "global powers"
For most of the world, governments run jack shite.
Private equity and the central banking system run the West (and China via their government): the U.S. Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, and the People's Bank of China. Asset management firms like BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street manage tens of trillions of dollars and control the markets. Both these institutions are locked together with the same decision makers.
The counter to this power is Middle Eastern oil and the UAE.
Both have a converged vested interest in managing and protecting their capital. Go and look for yourself: the biggest story in the world right now isn’t this war, it’s the amount of major capital leaving the USA and flowing into South America. Big money sees the writing on the wall.
We, the commoners, are playing checkers. The big players are playing chess.

Why are the GCC countries allowing us and the evil Joos the use of bases and airspace against another GCC state?

You all can make all the arguments for taking action you want.
But what action? A fireworks show?
No regime change?
The gulf all screwed up?
Lost elections?
Are those the actions we have to take?
Oh I see, everything will be fine once the dems control congress again and President Gavin Newsom opens our borders again.

I would have to think that the Iranians will want a nuclear deterrent exponentially more after these attacks
Regime change will only be accomplished via a massive ground invasion, then long prolonged war vs. their approx 1 million troops, does anyone have the stomach for that?

Ok so what happens when we just go take it all back with hard power when we find out that we were played in your scenario?

I do but I’m probably in the minority. It wouldn’t take that anyways.

Well apparently not the jews. I dont hear them volunteering to hitch a ride on our C130s into the Iranian desert.
Of course not. Thats the job of the USA.

Sounds like you need to consider moving out of the country.
3 more years of Trump winning may do you in if you don't leave.

First, how would we do that? Who is paying for it? The banks have the money. Think for two seconds.
Second, as I said, look this up, trillions of dollars in capital starting moving right before all this happened. The money is in place to prevent your scenario.
