Iran getting the bomb would have made everything you rant about worse.

Which is why this can't end without U.S. personnel on the ground in Iraq securing the half ton of 60% uranium. Do people here actually think that because we bombed the shite out of their facilities that 1,000 pounds of enriched uranium just magically evaporated? It's still there, even if it's under 100 feet of rubble.

I'd like for someone to explain to me how that happens without U.S. troops on the ground, at a minimum providing security for the personnel securing the uranium.

People can talk all day long about how Iran would have had the bomb, and maybe sooner rather than later. That's true. But any scenario that leaves the uranium in Iranian hands means that job isn't finished.

Yeah, people don’t understand Iran, they can never have a Nuclear Bomb, period! And even if you don’t believe that, it doesn’t matter, cause Israel does…They have told Israel that as soon as they do, they are going to use it on them, and neither side disagrees, so it doesn’t matter what anyone says or thinks, whether you doubt the 12th Imam stories or not, Iran can’t have a bomb and have any hope for peace in that area. Just look at what they did without Nuclear bombs with just conventional weapons to all their neighbors who they weren’t at war with???? This is a death cult regime, and there is no reasoning with that….

Not true.

They were, until a few weeks/months ago capable of progressing their nuclear program to completion.

I notice no where in your post where you mentioned this.

Is the uranium still there? Then they can still get nukes...this regime or any future regime.

But i cannot freaking believe we didn't have a plan to keep the strait open...

At the risk of beating the dead horse...how about a plan for going in and securing and seizing 1,000 pounds of uranium? Because leaving it there just means that at some point we'll have to do this all over again. Maybe 5 years from now, maybe 10...but we'll have to do it again.

MAGA is dead.

It’s just turned into undying loyalty to trump no matter what he does or says and to Israel

“ eople forget the amount of cash Obama and Biden gave them. Then look at Europe. Half of Paris is infested with potential Supreme Leaders. Trump had no choice but to make a move.”(quote Loog).

Totally agree, loog. The dice are cast and it’s all about that Strait now. The Jihadist Regime must go down It’s tragic that the good freedom loving people in Iran will pay if Kharg is destroyed to do that. And the reality is that either China or the US will have to pay to rebuild if it so.

The reality and most dangerous aspect of this scenario is that the Jihadist will now abandon any strategy to acquire WMD weaponry to match that of their opponents (Big Satan/Little Satan) and go underground. I’ve fit laid out the utterly crippling terror strategies that could bring our Nation down if employed. The delusion Jihadists are now in crazy vengeance mode given their humiliation. I think of the Scripture “when they shout peace, peace…sudden destruction cometh “.

But for Faith, I abandon it all and take my few years left observing this miraculous and wondrous Reality before going into the Great Unknown.

Thank you Jesus.

Thats exactly right because most people dont try to understand policy and would rather latch onto personality.

I voted twice for Trump. But i did so because of what he said, not how he said it.

You can't expect tbat from people who get pissed when you post more than two paragraphs at a time.

i'm sorry you live a life of quiet desperation where the price of food and gasoline effects you, perhaps a look in the mirror and a little self evaluation would be in order.

If you think the price of a gallon of gas at the pump is the only detrimental effect on the typical American consumer, you're too economically illiterate to even be in this conversation. An "unexpected $500 expense"? Economically speaking, you're a retard.

The cost of EVERYTHING you buy goes up, due to increased transportation costs as well as increased manufacturing costs.
Land freight, air freight, sea freight.
The cost of air travel goes up.
The cost of insurance goes up.
The cost of utilities goes up.
Drug prices go up...99% of pharmaceutical feedstocks are fueled by petrochemicals.
Less discretionary spending by consumers, who now have less money to spend, will impact other areas of the economy, potentially creating more job loss.

And all that is just for starters.

The US policy on Iran obtaining a nuclear weapons has been consistent, and is consistent to this day.

Mutual Assured Destruction does not work with leadership that has a suicide bomber mentality. You can never allow them to obtain the the means of carrying out their deepest conviction which is the destruction of Israel.

Bit of a doomer outlook. You’re talking months(possibly a year)before that sort of impact would occur.
