Walsh and Knowles are really out of their age range. Kirk has been around for a dozen years and not easily matched. While there are younger players none that I heard of that have the common ground as Kirk. I’m not sure there was another in line at Turning Point

Charlie Kirk and his TPUSA organization probably got Trump re-elected in 2024. He was the ground game that flipped the young vote. Without it Trump doesn’t win all the swing states.
They helped, but it was also with the redpill movement which did not exist in 2020.
Long story short: university == feminism, redpill == stand up to feminism

I saw some where yesterday that his personal impact as far as reach from social media, in-person appearances and speaking engagements was over 100 million people last year alone.
The left has been working tirelessly since the 50's to embed the current structure on college campuses and he was fracturing that in less than decade. He was on track, through his group and movement to turn a generation in another direction and to the opposition that couldn't stand they were watching their playbook be used against them, much like the quote below.
“Give me just one generation of youth, and I'll transform the whole world.”
- Vladimir Lenin
Like when Rush passed, there really isn't anyone that is going to be able to fill the gap, especially with the younger generation. It's a true cult of personality situation. Whatever is behind this act, knew this. There simply isn't anyone that had his wit, depth of knowledge and bravery to step in this arena that will appeal directly to this audience. A single person can't fill that gap, it's going to have to be a group effort moving forward.

Wrong. It was because he was making an actual impact which threatens them.

Correct, which is why that theory is pretty weak.
This is going to be the "JFK moment" for the younger Gen Z and Gen Alpha. The impact of this is going to last a LONG time.

This I can agree with.

They made Charlie Kirk into a modern day MLK. He was a voice. Now he is a legend. This is the worst thing could have happened to the Democrats.

I hope Michael Knowles takes over as the head of TPUSA.
Love him.
Love him.

Knowles is to square to relate to 18-22 year olds

When I was kid growing up in Australia in the 70's I thought every German in present day was a nazi piece of shite.
The only time I saw a German was in war movie after war movie.
That was my German algorithm in the 70's.
Your algorithm is failing you.
At least I was only pre teen throughout the 70's.
You are an adult.
It's time to wise the frick up.

Charlie also hit at the exact perfect time. When an entire generation coming of age to vote in the 2024 elections had their high school years destroyed by the PTB.
Those kids video game streamers weren’t online during the day because they stay up all night gaming turned to other online videos during the day and got to see pundits online and Charlie related to the young people with logic and truth. They consumed truth from online podcasts that exposed the truth them for hours at a time. Once you see and understand the truth you can’t unsee it. That’s what happened to the 18-28 demographic for the 2024 elections. So covid lockdowns might have had the greatest impact for young people to be more conservative than any group. Just like Vietnam turned boomers into liberals because of a senseless war

What I can take from this example is that it only takes one speaking the Truth to undo what thousands (ex. in the education system) have been doing for decades.
One person can make change for good. Know this.

The left doesn’t care if they turned him into a martyr or not.
It remains to be seen whether the shooter is a looney acting alone or whether this was some coordinated effort.
I will say that the left historically has shown a shocking lack of wisdom when it comes to confronting their opponents, so I agree with your sentiment.
They basically created Donald Trump, and then they re-created Trump 2.0. If they had just left him alone from 2020-2024 I honestly don't think he would have run again, but that wasn't good enough for them. They had to try to destroy him. Raid his house, charge him with 100 counts of bullshite, pay some women to claim he raped her decades ago a la Christine Blasey Ford.
It doesn't get them what they want, but they somehow don't understand that.
They are hive minded and insectile in their anger.

And this is where your policy of, "I don't care about any online influencers and neither should you" is obsolete. You should consider the possibility that you're a dinosaur in that regard.
Kirk very likely made more difference in the 2024 election than any other single entity other than Trump himself.
quote:
Someone else potentially more influential will emerge to fill the void left by his assassination.
Likely not.
Kirk was a special individual. As an entrepreneur he created an organization that moved the political needle while still in his 20s, employing over 1000 young people nationwide. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of relevant facts to rival Ben Shapiro, but he was far more likable. He came across as a genuinely nice person.
Do not believe his Wikipedia page, it's highly biased. Watch some videos yourself and see if you think he was "hateful."
What this shooting and its public reaction signals is that a large segment of the American population hates people just for being normal.
Kirk's crime is that he was white, male, Christian, and believed in traditional values and decent behavior and he shared that message with young people. That's it. He wasn't obnoxious or hateful.
