During the DR game in Miami the announcers noted that the crowd was 70/30 DR fans and the numbers were similar for the Mexicans in Houston.

I like the way you think. I believe at every major event involving more than 10k people, ICE should be there, at every entrance, with drones high in the air. When an illegal is detained, beautiful. When the illegal breaks and runs or simply walks away upon seeing ICE, the drones capture the path to direct agents for the takedown.

If I was an illegal and trying to evade ICE or law enforcement, I wouldn't be at a baseball game. And if I had no income, I wouldn't be spending money on one.

Yeah. I think the Venezuelans here are more like Cubans - they hate socialism/communism. They had that energy at WBC in no small part because of recent events in Venezuela and the hope that it brings.
Not sure about Dominicans, but living next door to Haiti probably makes them somewhat anti-socialism.
