Lol that you think the World Wide Web only works in America .

I still follow my American football teams , and some of their associated boards online, like this one .. and it gives me kicks to point and laugh at the absolute fools still struggling and putting up with the shitshow that is America in 2026 (almost).. How delusional do you have to be to put up with the astronomical cost of living, the entitled, tatted-up fat women and the out of control gun horseshite - and still somehow think you have anything resembling “freedom” ? Not sure if you are crazy enough to still live in America (your bio says Cabo)- but the people still there are nothing but modern day slaves in my opinion .

reading the posts here reinforces every day for me that i made the correct decision to leave the cesspool, sinking ship that is America .

I’m not sure he ever made good documentaries.

He made surface level history documentaries at best.

It has straight bullshite in it, like when it says the indians had democracy before European settlers came.
The Iroquois Confederacy was a form of representative democracy. This was known long before Ken Burns.

The first episode was the worst, but the whole thing has many flaws. During some parts I thought I was watching a documentary about slavery or Indians instead of the AR.

Watched the first two episodes. Loved how they essentially boiled down George Washington to a slave holding, Indian land stealing evil white guy. The liberal freak with the thick rimmed glasses even said, "we shouldn't be making statues for any of these people".

I can’t stand burns.

I watched the first episode of his Civil War series and I was ready to crack his forehead.

Since that pbs platform reaches so many people I consider this guy to be a threat to our Republic.

It’s not only the out right lies but his omissions are down right egregious.

If he was a medical doctor he would be arrested for killing healthy people.

What country did you move to?

If you didn’t renounce your citizenship, which we all know you didn’t just in case you need to come back, you are still paying taxes.

Who is the slave?

Burns has an agenda. Always has.

Wokeness and White Guilt. Think how many times that has been shown in history classes to school children. Mass indoctrination.

His.ancestors actually fought for the Confederacy.

He's made a good living from Progressive Broadcast Network.

His history shows have always been fascinating, but mostly revisionist history. However He and his supporters will always fall back on the "Oh but you were never told the real truth" defense.

His role and purpose from the beginning.

Burns' job was always to revise and shape opinions to think less of who and what this nation is about; to blackwash America's history, identity and foundational traditions. His docs on the CW and Baseball managed to do just that.

Personally, I really liked his works on: baseball, The Civil War, The National Parks and Country Music.

You’re referring to about 10 minutes of the first hour. I literally kept track in anticipation of the whining that some of you would display. Besides, there was nothing controversial. It merely mentioned the Iroquois nation.

Like it or not, slaves became an issue in the Revolutionary War and leading up to the Declaration. Maybe you would prefer that be one of the “untold stories”?
