That was to introduce the motion for cloture, that took place on Wednesday (and he actually interrupted himself speaking).

To put in perspective, if you voted yes for cloture and vote no for the real thing, just pack your shite up.

This is just to end debate. They can always flip on the real vote, one way or the other.
Voting no to end debate at this point should only be reserved for political hacks wanting to delay at this point. It usually is, but in this case especially. There is nothing left to debate.

So far looks like things are going as good as possible. Some democrats in red states giving republicans another big reason to get more votes . I would like to see Kav get confirmed tomorrow with only republicans voting . We need more senate seats in the midterms.

expect Pence to be in DC tm with the fail rate so close.

Hopefully West Virginia isn’t stupid enough to think Joe Manchin was going to vote yes if he was number 50. He voted yes because Kav was going to be confirmed anyways.

and now we can expect coordinated riots in the streets of DC while the dems and media say there's no way a vote should be taken with the country in full meltdown.
sorry - elections have consequences and your bought and paid for "resistance" won't stop our democracy any longer bitches.

Cnn admitting that he will be confirmed, but just trying to spin this as “historic” because a VP has never broken the tie for any federal judge in history
