Doug Jones must really not care if he ever gets elected to another position for the rest of his life.

It’s saying on cspan that Manchin was a Yes.

The problem is now they can push Flake and Collins for 30 hours and if either flips, they can take Manchin back and the nomination fails.
NEVER underestimate the ability of the Republican caucus in the Senate to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
NEVER.

Murkowski
Hopefully after the first of the year, Mitch has her reassigned to the subcommittee for scrubbing the Capitol toilets, and she’s given office space in a mop closet.
Oh, and those campaign funds from the RNC when she comes up for re-election? Buh bye.

this. these are weak people we are dealing with. they need to be expunged from the party.

Any body who changes their vote now is signing their political death warrant. Others have already sealed their fate.

The same people would have voted no to Kavanaugh before he was nominated, before he had a confirmation hearing, and before the shitshow.
This was always about politics and good vs evil.
The democrats as a party are evil. They support evil ideologies.
Sure their are evil and bad Republicans too, but at least they have a platform that has principle.

If the Senate adopts the cloture petition, further debate on Kavanaugh is limited to 30 hours. If all time is used, it culminates in a confirmation vote late Saturday afternoon.
The 30 hour clock begins to run from the POINT that cloture is adopted.
