Thune is a traitor, is part of the reason.

There it is again. They keep telling us: Whatever it takes. By any means necessary.

Yep, over and over again.

Of course Rupar is for that, while preaching about "saving democracy".

He is a “moderate” person our local moderate Republicans

Because it's unconstitutional and while the GOP is corrupt, they are more willing to follow the Constitution than the Dems.

There's no point to packing the supreme court as I see it.
The day either side does that is the end of the republic. Which maybe you believe the republic is already dead or are in favor of making the first move towards a formal split between red and blue states.
But stuff like that is just a cowardly way of declaring war on the other side without having the courage to do what you really want to do which is subjugate your political opponents using the federal judicial system as a weapon.

When a politician says "All options have to be on the table", why don't our news media pin them down? What does "all options" mean? Does it mean all legal and strictly constitutional options, or something more? Are we talking aggressive political campaigning? Armed insurrection? Open warfare against anyone expressing an opposing viewpoint? What exactly does "all options" entail?
Our corrupted mainstream news media won't ask leftist politicians those obvious questions, possibly because they already know the answer and think the American people might not approve.

The Republicans should open the door for Trump to add 4.

There is nothing behind those eyes but hot air. The preacher couldn’t find his way out of a wet paper bag, but he can pretend he is coherent enough when he speaks like he is begging for money at the podium.

Thanks Georgia!
Warnock wouldn't be there in the first place if Trump hadn't both told Georgians in 2020 not to vote, and simultaneously backed not-particularly-popular David Perdue to run against him. And the supported Kelly Loeffler the next time. Now he's backing Mike Collins. This after handpicking someone who is admittedly mentally ill in Herschel Walker who also - you guessed it lost as well.
Trump's record in Georgia in general elections is abysmal since 2020.

I wonder how long it is going to take for the good guys to start believing them when they say that...

Trump is having a hard enough time getting his federal appointments in place, you think Congress is going to give him another 4 justices?

I was curious about how many Congressional Marxist Dems have mentioned expanding then packing SCOTUS vs how many GOP members of Congress.
I asked Grok:
I asked Grok:
quote:
In short, a core group of 4–10 introduced key bills, with 60+ cosponsors on expansion legislation, and broader verbal support from additional progressive lawmakers (likely pushing the total mentions into the dozens). It remains a minority position within the Democratic caucus overall and has not advanced to a vote. Historical precedent exists (Congress changed the Court's size multiple times in the 19th century), but modern attempts face strong institutional and political resistance.
congress.gov
For the most current or exhaustive list, congressional records (e.g., Congress.gov for cosponsors of S.1616 or similar) or advocacy trackers would provide the precise tally.
quote:
No, there are no prominent or notable examples of current or recent GOP (Republican) members of Congress publicly speaking in favor of expanding the U.S. Supreme Court (adding justices to the current nine).

Dems talking about packing SCOTUS is an open call for kinetic warfare on their part, but it's also a bunch of hot air.
First they'd have to take the White House
Second they'd have to take a solid majority in the Senate
neither of those are likely in the near term future
But even IF they did AND they followed through with ramming their agenda through the courts, you'd see a lot of red states refuse to comply with what they pass and we'd see a de facto Balkanization of the country and they wouldn't have the means to enforce their new "laws".
