Fleming would be doing worse. Dems would expose his using sketchy lawyers as influencers on social media.

WAFB changed significantly about a decade ago with change in local management and anchors. Even its lead weatherman was happy to retire and is now working for Landry Admin.

WAFB is in such a dark place right now.

They must love confiscation of guns, abortion up until the time of birth, no bail neccessary and straight up socialism.
Nice WAFB.

Davis is going to win in a landslide. The blacks have rallied and have brought in the white liberals

Letlow has no chance. Add in the low conservative showing at the polls, this is over

I'm amazed how the media, local as well, whether it be broadcasts or the printed press (i.e. The Advocate) seem to be leaning left so much. If you think for one minute that the average Democrat politician loves this country for what it is, you're out of touch as much as they are.
Let's see...what do the DemoRats stand for? They stand (oh, how they stand) for illegals, even over American citizens. They will go out of their way to defend illegals by absurd ways like calling for ICE to be abolished, stopping Trump from deporting illegals with the help of their corrupt judges, and wanting to do away with cops and prisons.
They support the belief that a man can wake up one day and announce that he is now a she. Folks, that's a mental problem, yet they accuse us of being cruel if we don't go along with the charade.
They do stick together on everything, though. This joke of a man, Troy Carter, couldn't even bring himself to vote for the "Laken Riley Act" because it would bring heat down on to illegals. Shame on him!
I could go on and on, but the bottom line is: DemoRats today aren't the same DemoRats of yesterday. But, hey...if you want to see the greatest country in the world topple to nothing, go ahead and vote for the evil DemoRats. I say, vote Republican for anything! Never DemoRats!

Of course, we have "Republicans" that are sitting this one out because of an accent or that they "want to vote out Davis" in 6 years.

I'll be voting for Letlow begrudgingly, but let's not act like the lack of enthusiasm for her is unwarranted or unfair. She is a garbage candidate who reeks of career opportunism. Frankly I find it embarrassing that LA couldn't produce a better Republican candidate but the local political machine did what the local political machine does. They certainly had no qualms with burying any party challengers to Letlow.

Davis is awful and maybe he wouldn't be as much of a threat if Letlow was a capable, principled candidate who could get out there and bury the leftist narratives and bullshite he spews with her own clear ideas and convictions, but she is a garbage candidate so she doesn't.

Davis is actually campaigning. Letlow has been quiet and refused to debate and now is slinging attack ads. She's a weak candidate but was pushed by Trump in primary so that's who we are going to get.

Incorrect, The Karl Rove/Bill Kristol republican establishment has pulled all the funding from her that they were spending on Cassidy.

I am not a huge Letlow fan, but I'll be dammed if is will support the people who supported Cassidy who are now propping up Davis.

Davis is a dem dummy and will vote as he's told and it won't be in the favor of the voters.

Davis has been on a non stop 64 parish tour.
He's actually trying to campaign. Letlow is banking on a telecall from Trump Monday. Which may be canceled as he canceled many events.

I didn't say refusing to debate equals a loss. So tell me how making a factual statement is "stupid shite"?
Of course this is the PTB.

No offense…but the “won’t debate” argument always makes me laugh

Well it didn't make me laugh during the primaries. I wanted to hear what these candidates had to say in their own words and wanted them to demonstrate competency so I could determine which Republican I thought best to meaningfully represent my interests and to defeat the Democrat. These aren't household names running for Senate where we all know everything there is to know and debates tell you nothing about the candidates. She didn't want to debate because she already had a Trump/Landry endorsement. She was selected and debating did not serve HER personal political interests. Not a good sign to the Republican voters that your leading candidate doesn't want you to hear much from her because maybe you might not like it much and decide you'd rather someone else.

Not debating leaves the door open to corrupt candidate appointments where we really have no idea who we are voting for, the party apparatus simply selects the candidates behind closed doors. Jamie Davis is not a good candidate. Any capable Republican should welcome debate with him. It's pathetic that she basically hides and gives hollow canned remarks . Based on how she sounded in her one debate showing with Fleming though I understand. She is a weak candidate who is obviously going to serve someone's interests in office. I guess our pittance is we'll get her voting with party interests if she wins. The flip side is that party interests may be just what John Thune wants. Or big donors. And she may fold on principles when the political winds sway and she needs to please other masters.

The people in the middle who supported Cassidy will be the ones who could put Davis over.

Also my post wasnt incorrect. Your statement was an additional tidbit not a rebuttal

Yes why are we replacing Cassidy again? I mean he was a Republican so that means he always votes for what the party wants? Oh wait.

WWL in New Orleans has been pushing hard on the META and Letlow connection and the NDA’s associated with that deal compared to non or fewer NDA’s associated with the HUT8 deal.

I guess Davis and the Democrats checks cleared. Just kidding about candidate spending influencing the media, but you can see how much candidates spend on line now in the FCC Political file. Here are some links for Davis at WWL and WAFB.

WWLTV Public file for Davis’s Orders

WAFB - Public File Davis Orders

You can also see Letlow’s orders too by navigating to her folder. She is out spending him. So if candidate spending influenced election coverage, the station would be rolling out the red carpet for Letlow.

But how have the mighty have fallen. WWL was only pulling in 7 grand for spots while WAFB got over 20k. It is probably over two different time periods.

You can see other stations at the same site. You can see how much a candidate or committee is paying per spot by digging through the orders.

For anyone’s interest, why live sports is so important to local TV stations, I have a glaring example. On WVUE for a Saints Sunday afternoon game, it is about 10k for 30 seconds. Even on a non Saints game it is a few G’s. Of course that is all not profit for the station, as some of those advertising dollars head up the chain back to networks and the leagues in reverse compensation. There was a day when that advertising dollar was free money for the stations, but that is a story for another day.

Davis ain’t winning Louisiana. Letlow is a crap candidate, but she will win, albeit a smaller number than expected.

She will do whatever the gop overlords tell her to do. Davis will do whatever the DNC overlords tell him to do. Neither has any interest in what the people in the state want them to do, and neither will do any good for the state of Lousiana but whoever wins will be finacially secure for the rest of their lives, so what does it matter.
