You guys and this fantasy of holding the house in midterms. You all waste so much goddamned energy over something that is almost certain to happen, even if unicorns shot puppies out of their asses for the last 2 years.

Since 1946, there have been 20 midterm elections. In 18 of them, the president’s party lost seats in the House of Representatives. That’s 90% of the midterm elections in the past 80 years.

You’re definitely cooked, that much is clear.

I mean... this is the state of editing. I'm sure everything else is perfect though.

AOL is still around?? really?
as for polls, they never seem to reveal how the question was worded, how big the poll size was, what part(s) of the country were polled, what ranges of demographics were polled, etc...
so w/o context they're meaningless at best and misleading more likely

Once again- How many people were polled? What states were these people in? Age? Sex? Etc…
You can cherry pick data to fit any premise you like…

I don't trust anyone for my own economy. That is up to me.
If you're trusting any politician for your financial well-being you are going to 100% be disappointed.

Why are people giving any weight to these polls?
It’s 1,000 voters and based on the categories, appears to be a left leaning poll.

There's video out there of Trump admitting that the economy ALWAYS does better under Democrats. The last three Republican administration's have all ended in recessions.

I won't trust Democrats on anything. I don't foresee that changing anytime soon.

Kinda true.
I don't really care all that much about the economy, i just want:
- No terrorists with nukes
- Less Indians shitting in our streets/workplaces
- Less drugs coming in to our country
- Less fraud costing taxpayers millions
All of this still will have a negative impact on "the economy".

It’s 1,000 voters
last I saw, the population of registered voters in US is ~175 million
So this "poll" represents 0.00057 % of registered voters
