If so how can you support them when they've at least wrongly detained at least one American citizen by accident? Why should they have their day ruined by being detained for an hour or more and have to prove their citizenship?
Mass deportations, by nature, are messy to begin with.
Being detained for an hour to prove you are who you say you are is a lot different from a court summons and false charges that could cost your job.
The cop even refused evidence she was willing to present more evidence from her car by saying she was being uncooperative. He had his mind made up, which is not how cops should be.

Lawyers, bankers and realtors are higher on the POS list

HOW IT WENT:
"You know why I'm here," Columbine Valley Police Sgt. Jamie Milliman said to her. The interaction was captured on her doorbell camera.
She felt she was already guilty in the eyes of the police.
"You know we have cameras in that town," Milliman said. "You can't get a breath of fresh air in or out of that place without us knowing, correct?"
It started as an attempt to confirm whether Elser's truck, a green Rivian, was the same vehicle seen driving through the town of Bow Mar, and quickly escalated.
"It went right into, 'we have video of you stealing a package,'" Elser said.
Milliman showed her photos of her truck entering and leaving Bow Mar and that he had video of her committing the theft.
"Can I see the video?" Elser asked.
"If you go to court, you can," the officer replied. "If you're going to deny it, I'm not going to extend you any courtesy."
HOW IT SHOULD HAVE GONE:
"You know why I'm here," Columbine Valley Police Sgt. Jamie Milliman said
“Lawyer. Goodbye”. Shuts door.

Other people I’ve seen do this behavior is lawyers and teachers.
I had an assistant principal accuse me of lighting a match. Says she had it on video. I told her to show me the video, she says she couldn’t. I laughed in her face. Got suspended for 3 days.
And no, I didn’t light a match. What they saw me doing was handing rubber bands for my braces to a classmate so they can use them. They say I was passing matches.

Missing work can get you fired as well.

Agreed. And I know for a fact at least one ICE agent has acted improperly as well.
I'm not saying this is how things ought to be, only how they are in our current society and how'd they'd be, to some degree, in any society I could imagine. Unfortunately.

I just don’t talk to them. It’s that simple.

It didn't go right into that.
She did first lie about not going into an area of town she drives through 20+ times a month, which the cop could see her driving through.
The cop was retarded, but she threw the retard a giant bone by telling such an obvious lie.

In other news, LEO’s are beyond reproach and largely worshipped in the south.
Locally, we had a guy get killed by a drug task force. Moron cops served the wrong address and knocked the door down at midnight. Lead cop killed the guy, again wrong guy, wrong address.
Kentucky State Police has been “investigating” the shooting for nearly a year. More like covering up.

This guy was definitely a douchebag. However there are over 200 million interactions between LEO and civilian s each year and to say this is typical is stupid.

That $25 package needed a little bit of this

Cop walks up, makes accusations......all you do is ask for a warrant. If he doesnt have one, tell him to kick rocks. Close door.
No reason to talk and or exchange any more words with a loser like him.
"We have camers"....ah, ok, so uou know i didn't stop, right?

That woman had "done nothing wrong" so she "had nothing to worry about" by willfully inviting the surveillance state into every aspect of her life. I bet she said things like, "Well, tney already do such and such, so why do I care if they do this?" At least the spying device on her door saved her this time.
Just because you've already been beaten into submission and are being continuously fricked, being raped of any and all semblance of privacy you may have once had, doesn't mean you shouldn't stop trying to make life harder for our "justice" system and the surveillance state it serves.

The LEO was disciplined but only because the citizen had it all on camera. Without the camera, this would be reduced to a report written by the dishonest LEO and it would protect him fully.
Now do the eff bee eye, operating solely on written 302 forms. You think local is draconian?

Most cops have extremely low IQs, this isn’t anything new.

There's a Flock camera installed on Texas Heritage Parkway that scans my plate on average 4 times a day. Why is it there? No clue. That exit has a Love's with an Arby's, a couple of neighborhoods, and strip mall type stuff.

I have a cousin that will drive you hom rather than give you a DUI. My family is special though.

Thank you. I didn't know about it and wouldn't have clicked on that thread otherwise.
