I’m not attacking you about the tampon law commie. Simply pointed out your obvious divergence from your OP.

I am attacking your support of the communist policies Harris proposes and your obvious support of that party. Commie loser

Because as usual you guys make this big ordeal about something that isn't even happening. And then you double and triple down when you are challenged on it. I don't get it.

You should really try to do some work on being original. Calling me a commie 40 times over just makes you look really shallow. Like you don't actually have anything to add to the conversation except insults.

My apologies, I didn't mean you specifically. Not double checking my posts. I mean you all in general double and triple down. It's happened plenty in this 21 pages

I don't know if you're a commie or not but I think it's safe to say you're not as smart as you think you are.

And you're a dumbass for wasting almost an entire day on this thread.

Good Lord! You started posting at 6:40 am this morning and thus far, you've logged damn near 75 posts in 9 hours.

This has to be a troll account that someone forgot about. We should start taking bets on who it is.

It was a bad first response to a straightforward question. Do you think there's a group of people that had never considered asking friends and family for help with their kids? Thanks for the hot tip JD!

I don't think he is.

Remember that for most of American history multi-generational living (extended family living with nuclear family under the same roof) was the norm.

Feminism and other factors have changed the labor market so that multiple incomes are required in many households and multigenerational living has started making a come back. Quadrupled since 1970, in fact, up to 18% of American households.

It actually not "out of touch" at all to imagine a grandparent helping out with children.

It's a much better solution than government subsidizing day care with strangers.

I expect nothing less from a progressive.

All good.

And yes. There are people so dumb they have not considered that.

• The OP is an alter presenting as having no family/friends willing/able to assist with childcare.

• The OP is put off by the thought of having to ask family for help.

• He's also pissed that Vance would suggest to family/friends that they should offer to help.

• Instead, he wants the convenience of dropping his kids off at a facility, then picking them up at the end of the day, and modeling himself as fully self-sufficient.

• He also wants government to approve, certify, and take responsibility for people at the facility looking after his kids.

• But he's aggravated/aggrieved by the cost of fair compensation for child care workers who in turn must comply with the government regulations which he insists on.

• As a solution, he'd like others to pay those costs for him.

• Even though those are the facts here, when confronted with them he denies the reality.

As a side track, he got into discussion of Tampon Tim's Minnesota law. Tampon Tim's law requires "Period Products" be made available in at least some restrooms accessible to boys in every school facility in the state, grades 4-12. Just as the OP alter denies other facts here, he incredibly denies that Tampon Tim's law has resulted in a single school locating "Period Product" dispensers in a boys restroom in the state of Minnesota.

Meanwhile, the implications of Tampon Tim's law, i.e., matter-of-fact cross-sex (Grade 4-12) restroom access granted in MN schools, apparently evades the OP.

Ah yes. The old " it takes a cillage" mentality that helped humanity survive for its entire existence is " out of touch with reality"

GD you people are dumb.

Same here. My mother helped with babysitting for my son and my brother's kids. And I know many others who had help from family members. Most parents realize the expense involved and willingly help to pitch in and care for grandchildren. Many also love the opportunity to spend time with their grandkids and vice versa.
