re: Passing a law designating Islam as a political movement

Skirting our laws is problematic but if Muslims become the majority and take over our government, it will cease to exist along with any freedoms we currently enjoy. Islamic followers mean to overtake the USA not conform to its ideals and values.

Is it just a matter of time before their "demands" become "unofficial" policy. Religious tolerance does not seem to be a belief among their "flock" so why on earth would any state put them in a position to dictate policy in addition to disregarding the "separation of state/religion.
re: How in the hell do we have a sharia judge in the “RED STATE” of Mississippi?

Same here. I'm beginning to think buying a headstone for my "future abode" may be a waste of money as I suspect in a world inhabited with the "diciple's of Allah", all cemeteries will be desecrated. I only hope that either the powers that be come to their senses or that the next civil war will rid our country of a "plague" worse than anything Fauci confronted. Seems that at least 3 countries in Europe are beginning to see the writing on the wall thanks to the recent deluge of illegals crossing into Spanish territory. Got to question though the stupidy of those thinking that this influx of humanity, so foreign to our ways, would be benefical and assimilate???????

Agreed. Let's not forget they breed like rabbits and may very well end up a majority. Let's also not forget we now have a Muslim mayor in the largest city in the USA w/perhaps a senator on the way.

This is no shooting on a Hollywood backlot but happening in real time. So is mainland Spain next on the agenda? Will caring for this mass of "humanity" now be on the backs of native Spainards.

I woke up and as I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same.
I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone.
You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!
• If a man pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.
• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
• Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.
• It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.
• People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.
• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.
• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.
• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.
• If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.
• People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
• We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.
• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.
• Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.
• And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?!
Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China.
We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right.
Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and is sinking fast. The choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choice wisely!
Feel free to copy and paste. I did.
Time for our government to wake up you either work with and for America or get the hell out .. we're tired of paying taxes and you incredibly selfish people don't give a damn for the people you work for... you should all be ashamed of yourself !!!!

Thinking about Mandami winning NYC, who w/have thought a left leaning, Muslim w/o any real life experience win the mayoral race of our financial center. Seemingly, young candidates extolling promises of utopia fare well in today's topsy turvy world even to the extent of ignoring scores of lost souls on 9/11.

W/out a doubt the UN's decision to include Iran in policy making including women's rights! That they are still a member of a organization for world peace boggles the mind esp. as they think nothing of murdering their own countrymen. The UN's day has come and gone about as worthless as The League of Nations.

Perhaps w/the exception of the ballroom (not a good look for a country still reeling from policies of the former administration), I can't help thinking of the Energizer Bunny esp. when compared to sleepy joe who couldn't even read from a script or climb stairs w/o stumbling. Time will tell whether he made the right call concerning Iran but certainly previous attempts to squash their nuclear ambitions has met w/failure. Policy to strengthen voter integrity is the right call as is removing those who are here illegally. "Rooting" out fraud is a no brainer and those that abuse the system s/b dealt w/severely. I'd like to see him tackle "foreigners" on the ballot for any government elected role in the country.

re: For pushing an innocent bystander into a moving train, what should be the penalty?

Life in jail, death by a lethal injection? No to both. The "eye for an eye" approach is more fitting for the animals among us. Drag him to the platform and toss his body in front of the oncoming train.

After the outright slaughter of their own do they not see the sheer lunacy in making this remark? Iran/Persia's history is a long one of chaos more often than not mostly due to its ever changing political scene depending on who or what group decides its time for a change. Additionally they long for a return to their empire status much like Mussolini/Hitler/Stalin. Iran is the ever present "bully" sorely needing an attitude adjustment before it is responsible for a world catastrophe that may have no winners.

re: Only 14 states plus DC do not require an ID to vote.
Posted by CTregistrar on 3/20/26 at 7:01 am to Rebel
CT requires some form of ID to vote, ie., driver's license, current utility bill, passport, even someone vouching for you (must sign documentation). You cannot just walk in, head for a tabulator and cast a vote. If you cannot prove place of residence, you cannot vote. At best a provisional ballot would be the only option.
re: I'm Curious. How Many Here Think Lee Harvey Oswald Acted Alone in the JFK Assassination?

Anyone remember Dorothy Killigan? Shortly before she was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her home, she was scheduled to meet with "I believe" four men in Texas about the assassination. We will never know how close she was to finding the truth about JFK's murder.
re: Seemingly lost in all this Iran BS is they refused to stop developing nukes….

Iran/Persia has a long history of "government" upheaval. It's people welcome new leadership then complain thereafter when "it" doesn't deliver. But in its long history, a western styled government has never been put in place nor has its people clammored for one. Nuclear weapons in such an unhealthy nation is dangerous not just for the USA or Israel, but the world. Who is to stop them from eyeing their neighbors (many were once occupied by Persia). So how will this distraction prevent the same scenario down the road? Where is there new leadership willing to do the hard work of eliminating the zealots and dictators? Each time we "enter" into a conflict with nations that have gone astray, our efforts have been in vain, Vietnam, Afghan, etc., Iran will be no different.

I'd rather deal with traffic after work during daylight hours, however, I'd also rather "they" stick w/one or the other. As for the UN, what has it contributed to world peace? And the IRS, another dept. created to bleed us dry not only to tax us but to fund it's operational costs. Personally "less is best" when talking about any government agencies and esp. those that seem to have major issues "keeping track" of tax dollars spent.
