So are you saying there are not right wingers in MN that would be posting pictures and videos everywhere all over the internet if there were really tampons in the boys bathrooms? I'm just curious how you all can be so gullible? It's honestly astounding

So, does he think people are too stupid to realize that they could just ask the grandparent for help?

Worker’s wages probably account for 40-50% of a daycares costs.

The other big coats would be insurance, rent, food and utilities. Luckily, those have all gone way down recently. Problem solved.

We can read. We have read the law. We also know the legislative history.

Your party is obsessed with transgenderism.

It's laughable that you want another government handout. That's the only other option to what Vance is proposing.

They just want more fake manufactured outrage

What JD was explaining (which the clip has been cut off for the 2nd part of his answer)

Basically, grandparents can’t even afford to watch their kid’s kids because they live on a fixed income

Next, he explained that it’s ridiculous that a daycare worker who loves to work with kids has to take 6 years of school to earn some stupid degree that has nothing to do with daycare or working with children

There is nothing better than Grandma and Grandpa helping raise kids or aunts/uncles

In the 1950s we didn't even need grandparents for help. And childcare was very cheap. Why? Because LBJ's welfare programs had not been created and tons of women were eager for the job.

Where is this happening? After putting several kids through daycare, none of their teachers or even the owners of the facility had that kind of education. If I'm being honest, they might have all graduated high school.

This ^^^ use to be a fairly common occurrence when I was growing up in the 60's and 70's, same thing with family taking care of their elders in their later life.

Cool. Then explain why the law Governor Walz signed doesn’t state that menstruating products need only be placed by school districts in female sex restrooms?

I guess every school district is breaking the law. So triggered.

Nothing, its just NOT a solution to the problem. This answer assumes that parents, or even neighbors, aren't already helping how and when they can. I know I do.

His answer to "how do we fix the rising cost?" is literally just "i dont know. get someone to do it for free. Why haven't you tried that?" idiot.

Why does it need to?

ETA: Common sense says it'll go into the bathrooms where they would be used. Period

It goes back to something Butker in his commencement speech. Being a stay at home parent is a very noble thing and it should not be looked down on.

It might be out of touch, but this is what America was like prior to the 40s/50s. Americans by and large lived in mixed generation households/communities where there wasn't 100% pressure on individual "nuclear" households to provide all housing and child care.

I’m sure we have the full context here.

One part of the answer is to improve our economy so both parents don’t have to work 6 jobs to buy diapers and milk.
