No. Almost no ships are US flagged because the strict regulations about operating as a US flagged vessel. There are only 10 tankers US flagged, and they are almost exclusively used to transport oil between US ports.

There is one US flagged tanker currently in the ME. It had to be escorted through Hormuz by a Navy destroyer. Afterwards it docked in Bahrain for repairs, where it was struck by an Iranian missile killing one and injuring two others.

yep. 100%. But this is because these companies were promised access for their foreign workers to commission the sites and train US workers.

So, what are they supposed to do when they are ready to commission the factory, but their H1B (or whatever visa it might be) has been held up for 2 years? They broke the immigration law because the US broke its promises to these companies. We have to fix this
